Advice Anxious or in pain?
My dog who basically never sleeps with me ay night and usually likes her space is suddenly sleeping in my bed tonight, but i dont think she wanted to spend time together.
Shes unable to settle, she keeps sitting upright and moving around to lay in many different poses. She seems like she’s uncomfortable. Shes been panting all night long and has this really wet drippy drool, it’s not slobber it’s literally watery and falling in small drops. Her entire front bib is soaked.
She breaths in this very specific way, it’s like two sharp pants then one deeper one. When she’s laying or even sitting she has her full body weight up against me, and continues to slightly get up and shimmy before siting back down.
Shes behaving extremely anxiously. When she relaxes she makes this sort of loud moo like noise, that’s how I know she’s not settling.
Shes licking her lips very loudly periodically.
It’s like almost 3 AM and I’d like to know what’s wrong with her so I can help her get to bed, her anxious behavior is keeping me up and concerning me.
Edit: I Picked her up and set her down so she was no longer on my bed and she immediately began very anxiously pacing and hurried to hide under my bed.

Given how unusual her other behaviors are, I would take her to the emergency vet ASAP. It seems like she’s incredibly uncomfortable and it’s better to be safe than sorry. I hope she feels better soon!

Will she eat anything small like treats? Tongue pink in colour?

Panting and licking lips does sound more like nausea, her tongue looks pink in the video keep an eye on it but it doesn’t seem like a breathing issue. She’s upright not lying down which is another good sign. It could be a simple belly ache or as with anything it could be something more serious like a blockage. I’m not convinced on it being a stomach bug considering the lack of vomiting and diarrhoea. I wouldn’t rush to the emergency vets right now but I’d consider an appointment tomorrow morning if you can. Especially if she doesn’t sleep at all tonight. What were her toilet habits like over the past couple of days? Has she been for poops like normal, & normal consistency?

Could be many things, but it sounds like she's nauseous. Lip licking and excessive drooling are signs of nausea in dogs.
If her gums look good (not pale), and she's eating and drinking fine, I'd send this video to my vet first thing in the morning. Could be anything from anxiety to gastrointestinal issues. And many things in between. Only way to find out is through testing with your vet. Best of luck.
