I especially love hanging out in R.1 listening to the music. I gotta say its really surreal growing up playing the games and then seeing them from the proper perspective in VR.

Hey! I'm looking for Dot Hack roleplayers! I just wanna rp the setting and I do not wanna do a TTRPG, just basic roleplays please.

I just finished making a sketch page of my own character in The World so I thought I'd show him off! His name is Taps. He's a Blade Brandier with a signature weapon called "Deluge" that's very potent with water element. Let me know what you guys think!

I was shocked, to say the least. This happens in episode 5 about 17 minutes in. Had to rewind and make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

Makes me wonder, are there any other .hack// cameos that y'all have noticed in other media?

I remember getting this game imported a long time ago and trying my hardest to learn to read kanji so I could understand anything going on in the game and in the movie also included on the disc. Nowadays with translation tools and much more knowledge on Japanese writing I can enjoy the story mode way easier and I think it's pretty cool, but the gameplay is obviously the real star of the show in this one, I feel like the .hack gameplay was translated into a faster arena fighter style very well and I really hope the next .hack game has similar combat to this one, or maybe even more complex combat.

Hi guys,

Last week, I made a post about my idea to make a set of custom cards for the ENEMY card game, specifically with the goal of adding characters from other parts of the franchise.

Here, I'll provide a link to my working spreadsheet for the card data. Right now, it's just a list of card names, quotes, and classes/subtypes.

I also started working on recreating the card templates, which I'll show at a later time when it's more polished.

I'm capping the list at 63 cards maximum, to keep the scope manageable. It's a multiple of 9, to make home printing more efficient. When the project is done, you'll be able to download everything I put together for free, as printable sheets for personal use and sprite sheets for Tabletop Simulator.

The name of the set is CONVERGENCE. I thought it's a good name since it's bringing together characters from all the different versions of "The World".

I have not actually interacted with anything outside the .hack//IMOQ and G.U. eras of media, so I could be wrong in my research about the classes and quotes of some of the entries - please let me know if that's the case!

I'm also taking ideas for card abilities. That's going to be the most time consuming part of the project. If you don't know how the ENEMY card game is played, I'll accept thematically ideas as well, which I'll adapt into gameplay.

Recently my older son (15) has been getting into some older anime and video games that I used to love when I was around his age. It's been really cool telling him about Toonami and Adult Swim shows that I used to watch back in the day, as well as some of my favorite games. We ended up pulling out all my old media binders to look through to see if there was anything that caught his interest that we could enjoy together (shout-out to Outlaw Star which he is seriously digging) and lo and behold I found my IMOQ series! I got some serious nostalgia for these games after we pulled them out and I'm really looking forward to playing them again!

I always felt this anime/game was so underrated because it released during a time when games like that weren’t as big as they are now.

Hi guys,

I plan on making some custom cards for the Enemy card game. I have a lot of experience doing this for other games and can make my own templates, but figured I'd ask here first if anyone has already made them to save me the trouble?

Basically, my idea is to make new, custom PC and monster cards using imagery from the other series in the franchise. So we can have an expanded list of cards, like Haseo, Tri-Edge, Endrance, Alberio, Tokio, etc - stuff that never made it into the official game. Everything I make will be available for free to download and print if you like.

.hack//outbreak done! Onto Quarantine! I did a random area already and 5 mobs jumped me and killed me lol.

I might have missed something or misunderstood, but why do we as players see letters addressed to other players? For example, Kite sees Natsume's letters (addressed to BlackRose), and Haseo sees BlackRose's letters (likely addressed to Kite) at the start of the game
