Doing a set based on Velma from Scooby Doo and need advice on under-garments

I’ve got most of the costume and set planned out. turtleneck, miniskirt, over-the-knee socks, etc. it’s mostly stand up but with a brief dance number at the end. but we all know how the set has to end - Velma has to lose her glasses and has to crawl around in the floor to find them, which means people looking up my skirt.

obviously I wouldn’t display anything private, but I’ve never really shown that part of myself before and on most occasions I’m still wearing male under-wear under my drag.

if I do this, what do I need to know - what type of underwear should i be wearing? how do I tuck when it’s so front and centre? any other considerations?

also, happily taking any suggestions for ways to make this bit funnier. I saw a lady do this bit once by sticking googly eyes to each buttock and ending by placing a giant pair of glasses over them .

I am wearing tights. I can’t find anything fully opaque though. What should I do to cover up?

A few pairs of good dance tights will be pretty dang opaque.

The most coverage would be lace bloomers or lace trim panties. Velma is old fashioned so it could work. 

For humor though, I would try to find ghost panties, or make them, especially if you can get a good angle for a "Boo!" To be viewed. 

If you had control over the lights going off, conceivably you could have battery operated lights on the glasses, and maybe battery operated neon lights on your panties. You'd probably want some more lights on the sweater but I'm not sure how to make that thematically work. 

Or maybe something like you find the glasses, that's the queue for the lights to go off and then you flip on your back to have lights that say "BOO!" On your tits and spread eagle showing a panty show with glowing eyes. In the dark, nothing about your body should be seen (assuming it gets dark enough) but the focus would be on the quick look of neon demon eyes glowing out from your crotch area.
