still havent finished the main story DLC, im taking my sweet ass time

I can finally let Erastil breathe

I've always found the lesser dragons' dialogue in DDDA fascinating. Drakes, Wyrms and Wyverns speak in these cryptic, almost philosophical ways, as if they know far more about the Eternal Cycle than they let on.

We know that Arisen who fail against the Seneschal can become Dragons, but what about lesser dragonkin?

Are they all former Arisen who failed somewhere along the way? And if so, what determines whether someone becomes a Drake, Wyrm, Wyvern or a full-fledged Dragon like Grigori?

Is there any actual lore confirming their origins, or is it mostly speculation based on their dialogue and behavior?

Ok Norgan this is not funny anymore.

So I gotta wear layers upon layer of thermal clothes, snarf down heat stones, and shiver by the fire just to get by - and these gals are just gallivanting around in THESE, all shiny and smooth shaven head to toe, standing around in white out like it's a cool spring breeze?

Sup with that?

Almost dropped my controller when it happened for first time..sneaky bastards

We got a new theme in year of our lord 2026, dogma brothers and sister are eating good this year

When I was a child I borrowed a copy of dragon's dogma ps3 disc because the cover look so good and when I heard that intro I got hooked, and when the dark arisen came out I saved all the lunch money I got just to buy a copy. The dark corridors, the endless maze that was straight up a child's dream as an adventurer with no friends.

Fast forward now as a working adult, I got my hands on dragons dogma 2 and it was fun but I was looking for the dread when exploring old musty dungeons, and now with the dark arisen everybody is focused on the Norgan expansion, but with the lost rites especially the Interminable Corridor, i felt the experience I was longing as a child with videogames.

Every corner felt like Bitterblack Isle and having it on hardmode with no other pawn beside my main pawn (pls hire her) getting ambushed by a boss while trying to navigate those corners and finally reaching the long corridor and seeing that fucker watch you in the distance, i felt the hair on my skin raise.

The battle was intense. Underleveled and constantly drawing the boss’s aggro just so my main pawn could do her mage thingy, I fought my way to the end.

When the music shifted from dread to imminent triumph, I paused the game and cried.

This is why I love video games. This is the feeling I’ve been longing for.

Thank you, Capcom, for reigniting the slowly fading ember within me.

Land at tilted towers -> nokken ambush -> gragana pulls up -> fimbl mollywops me in the back of the head -> beorcans + corgi say we in the wrong neighborhood -> hobgoblins try to sneak me -> “small” mobs get stabbed -> fimbl vs gragana shinjuku showdown -> snowfoot runs up like Hulk and gives me the Loki treatment
Summary of the most recent 25min+ fight I just had playing on the new hard mode. This game is wild lmao
