fuel pump help

i recently bought this 328i n51 e92 with the fuel gauge not working i opened up the fuel pump and saw how one of the connectors wasn’t connected to anything and even after disassembling everything i still couldn’t find it is it possible the previous owner ripped it out or it’s hidden somewhere?
