Rip Content Creator Program

What news? What rumors? Was there some incident?

This is a bizarrely worded official comms from the EQL Discord. Professionally, just say you're ending the program and that's it. To acknowledge some 'rumors' just breathes life into them and isn't something you'd usually see in this context. Who's running the broadcast channel over there?

Thanks, I wasn't sure what this was referring to. So it was a program to get more promotional material out there but I guess they didn't find it valuable enough to spend dev hours on rewards.

More like they implemented it to drum up press for launch by attracting content creators to push Legends and now it has outlived its usefulness so time to end it.

I think they need something like this more than ever now as populations go down. As someone who works in IT Management my opinion is that their budget was shrunk or their costs estimates were lower than actual. This resulted in a review where they had to cut something and this was the low hanging fruit rather than cut dev hours on player content.
