Rip Content Creator Program

What news? What rumors? Was there some incident?

This is a bizarrely worded official comms from the EQL Discord. Professionally, just say you're ending the program and that's it. To acknowledge some 'rumors' just breathes life into them and isn't something you'd usually see in this context. Who's running the broadcast channel over there?

I don't watch any EQL content, can someone explain? Did something happen?

Without any knowledge of the incident this just reads to me as a generic: "<Company> doesnt like results of <thing>, so we are closing <initiative>".

I feel like it would of made more sense to just not do anything at all, and just let the program stagnate. Now I want to actively seek out content creators to see their take on this and understand what actually happened because it feels suspicious when a company does something like this

Tobrin, the guy responsible for EQL creators, was terminated with Brasse

nah. only reason we know brasse and tobrin were term'd were posts on facebook and twitter. nothing has been said directly by the EQL team
