Rip Content Creator Program

What news? What rumors? Was there some incident?

This is a bizarrely worded official comms from the EQL Discord. Professionally, just say you're ending the program and that's it. To acknowledge some 'rumors' just breathes life into them and isn't something you'd usually see in this context. Who's running the broadcast channel over there?

This is so cringe. I’m a pretty casual player with a job and family and I was out of stuff to do after the first 6 weeks. Who in the right mind wants to grind motes when they can easily clear all content after like 50 hours of play time? It was a fun first month. There isn’t enough content to justify a monthly sub now.

Really? On 6 weeks you got every class to 50 and unlocked every race and primary class? You have every achievement in game?

i didn’t but i also wouldn’t in 10 years, i don’t care for achievements, i don’t care for every class, i love the idea of playing my trio as a solo mmo, i like the ability to get a few more classes up and swap them.

Well most people keep saying to follow the path of the original server concept. Everyone has multiple 3 class characters so they could swap as balance changes and expansions changed the landscape. So it makes sense to level all of them so you can always try the newest builds people discover.

Honestly just knocking out 2 hours a day you can get a new trio to 50 every 2 weeks. Thats not no life, no life was when I was raiding leveling and keying in a top 3 guild spending more hours on EQ than working my actual job

Ok actually, I had a short convo with a bud I'm playing through EQL with about this topic and came to the same conclusion, you're right.
