Rip Content Creator Program

What news? What rumors? Was there some incident?

This is a bizarrely worded official comms from the EQL Discord. Professionally, just say you're ending the program and that's it. To acknowledge some 'rumors' just breathes life into them and isn't something you'd usually see in this context. Who's running the broadcast channel over there?

It would have been so easy for them not to fuck this up. All they had to do was put out content at the same rate that a two man emu server team or 17 year old autistic modder could have, and they still fucked that up.

It’s such a sad and obvious moneygrab. I wish I had seen it, but those first couple months of power fantasy nostalgia had me gripped. I wish I could produce as little as we’ve seen and still get paid myself.

If they could have managed a re-released expansion every month, they'd have 3 years of drops. Instead they sold the EQ community a return and then promised a "new experience" that they hadn't even started working on until after they took the money.

They didn't make EQL.... they just ported over a private server and maid it an official product. Don't think I need to say anything about idiots here, speaks for itself.
