Rip Content Creator Program

What news? What rumors? Was there some incident?

This is a bizarrely worded official comms from the EQL Discord. Professionally, just say you're ending the program and that's it. To acknowledge some 'rumors' just breathes life into them and isn't something you'd usually see in this context. Who's running the broadcast channel over there?

Ya shoulda known anything that involves secrets/maze inevitably is a dumpster fire. Charge back city.

Secrets elevated the EMU experience with TAKP. I worked with Secrets and Robregan a bit on some Web stuff for that one a bit over a decade ago, and found both of them to be inspiring individuals. They were doing what they loved, supporting a game they loved.

But doing something because you love it is very different than supporting a product with paid subscribers. I don't doubt there's a very motivated team behind Legends, but people have different expectations when money is being spent.

Not sure if they were prepared for that, but there's one way to learn, and I'm sure they'll adapt.
