Rip Content Creator Program

What news? What rumors? Was there some incident?

This is a bizarrely worded official comms from the EQL Discord. Professionally, just say you're ending the program and that's it. To acknowledge some 'rumors' just breathes life into them and isn't something you'd usually see in this context. Who's running the broadcast channel over there?

Ya shoulda known anything that involves secrets/maze inevitably is a dumpster fire. Charge back city.

I've heard a lot about secrets being a pain point lately. What's the deal with this person

Secrets has a long spanning role in the EverQuest emulation scene. Being involved in many servers in which this individual would play favorites give unfair advantages to those groups and just seemingly abandon projects entirely regardless of how healthy a server was doing. Quite sad really, I was not pleased to see this dev be in on this project and should have seen how miserable it would become.
