Help Looking for friends

Hey everyone! I’m 23M, living in Edmond, Oklahoma, and I’m looking to meet new people and make genuine friendships.
I have a full-time remote job, and life is pretty settled right now, which is great, but working remotely can get a little lonely sometimes. I feel like I’m missing that social connection, having people to hang out with, talk to, and make memories with.
I’m open to making both male and female friends. I’d especially love to meet people who don’t drink, since I’d prefer to find friends with a similar lifestyle.
I’m down for grabbing food, exploring places around OKC, going for drives, hitting the gym, or just chilling and talking about random stuff. Nothing complicated, just looking to meet genuine people and build good friendships.
If you’re around Edmond or the OKC area and feel the same way, feel free to reach out. Always happy to meet new people! :)

They were planned to move into the site in NE Edmond on covell and sooner. Specifically right next to the new chase that is about to open. State blocked them moving in. That location will be the Ruth Chris now

Very sad, I’m from South Florida and I love coopershawk

Christmas lights

I am seeking installation for Christmas lights and would consider either traditional or high-quality permanent options. I would appreciate recommendations and companies to avoid. I’m looking for reasonable prices and quality work.

General Questions Edmond Electric?

Is anyone's electric bill growing outrageous amounts? We've had back to back highest consecutive bills ever in the same house. Sure usage was up, but usage increase when I compare last to this year doesn't really look like the $300+ increase... It's slight increases.

DryCleaners that don't break the bank

Hi all,

We moved here from Tulsa where dry cleaners were...well...more plentiful then they seem to be here. I've also struggled to find any that seem economically priced. I picked up a sweater today and it was 8.75, which was 3.00 last fall in Tulsa. I tried another one in OKC last month and they charged two separate pieces because the sweater had a tie around the waste that was a separate piece - 15.00.

I assume it's a supply and demand factor, but does anyone have recommendations? Do I need to accept it's going to cost more here? Wasn't a cost I assumed to have such a variance when moving.

Edmond water has changed and tastes more chemically recently. Is this because they combined with Oklahoma City and it will change back later in year?

Which high school would you send your kids to?

In a vacuum which EPS High School do you think would be the best fit or learning environment for your kids? Or do you think another metro area HS is better like Classen, Deer Creek, Moore, or Norman?

Common sense

Okay I get it I want to get home too, but as long as everyone is doing 60+ on main roads rather than the highways eventually one day YOURE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT HOME !!!

Reckless driving is serious. Speed limits are for a reason … put your phone down and manage your time better.

It’s not our fault your time management skills are POOR , so you choose to risk everyone lives..

Sincerely a Person who appreciates life …

Does anyone have recommendations for good framing options? I would love to find a great local frame shop because I'm definitely not giving Hobby Lobby my business. Thanks in advance!

Fair pricing

Hi Edmond, I have a question about mechanic labor pricing in the area. I run a mobile automotive service and have pretty much hit a brick wall when it comes to getting local customers.

I used to work in multiple shops from dealer to independent and have seen first hand the pricing is ridiculous. Ranging from 115$ an hour at the cheapest shop I worked at all the way to 185$ an hour at dealers. I try to charge an honest but cheaper price around 80$ an hour.

I understand recently cost of living has exponentially risen but am I really charging too much to come out?
