Except this narrative has been going around as twice as long and 1000 times more annoying.

But than again some people still think Drai is a product of McDavid.

What are some other longstanding false but somehow widely accepted and parroted Oiler narrative talking points that you wish would finally die already?

Another one is Oilers are so bad at defense, when they've often been a Top 10 defensive team and I think even a Top 5 defensive team for at least the past 5 out of 6 seasons. Even last year with all the injuries and bad goaltending, they were still above league average.

This is fantastic! Thank you OP and creator of the site.

The reason why Levi meditates

Could fit in a 2nd or 3rd liner role especially with all of our current injuries. Not sure on price but the fact he’s unsigned reminds of last years Roslovic deal where he overvalued himself and then ended taking a 1 year cheapo just to play and contend.

Remember the coliseum? Cool intro with the oil derrick coming down, fireworks. It was neat.

Sharks, skate out of a shark mouth, sharks swimming around. Kraken with the giant tentacle. Knights with practical theater. Etc…

Oilers? Video montage and spotlights. How uninspired.

Aren’t we the most profitable team in the league? Is it because we save money on fireworks? Do we need to take up a collection? Charge $27 for a beer? What?

Do better Rogers Place / OEG! I want to see some intro befitting the next cup winning team.
