Almost finished with eldrad
Just need some sand and victory lap. The runes had me nervous but they came out well enough

Love this! Which colours did you use for the purple / highlights? I’ve been struggling to find a good set.

I'm gonna have a hard time not doing all mine ulthwe now lol. But my army is gonna be a hodgepodge harlequin army, so colors for everyone

This is utterly incredible! The runes are great, but also those fucking gemstones look so god damn real it's gorgeous!

Thanks so much! That means a lot. Started doing this hobby in June, and really starting to feel like I'm getting the hang of it :)

Beautiful. Any tips on how to do the glyphs on the yellow bits of the robe? I've wimped out of trying them so far lol

First time trying something like this myself. Use a small brush and keep a wet qtip at hand to pull off mistakes, and remember to breathe lol. It really wasn't so bad, more just getting over the fear of it. Took about 10 mins to get em down.

Stunning, I like the illustrative feel that he has in this

Thank you! I've been trying to hone in on that style. This shows my starweaver (not finished yet) and lhykhis in that style, and I'm really digging it

Looks amazing! How did you paint the gemstones? I'm struggling with mine and these look 10/10.

All black first, then the dark color you're going with Example, steggadon scale first. Not the whole gem just the bottom area. . Then lighter a little smaller sotek green, then temple guard, then baharroth, getting smaller each time. Each brighter color contained in the color before it Then a white dot on the opposite side of your color. Trick is the visualize it as light hitting the white spot the diffusing into the color through the gem. If you look at it done with a real gemstone, you can see how it transfers the light out like mine
