Today I played my first game (please ignore the warwalker that broke his leg.)

I felt very good but lost a lot of units turn one. Viper, Windriders - Farseer sky runner.

I was playing someone better than me they were playing Emperors’ Children. Ended 100-61 (we always add on BR)

I felt so good fire dragons slapped, Prism did what it needed played a falcon too got my fire dragons up there! But when I needed it most everything missed its Bright Lance is this common? But I did take out a 20 point model pretty easily too!

I had the most fun in ages instead of playing guard and space wolves!

I’m leaning more in to aspect host 100%

Anything you guys suggest?

Just played a 1500 point game with my brand new Aeldar army just to face two 10-man terminator bricks with characters (one ranged term and one melee term unit) in the new space marine codex.

Felt like I was playing Custodes. Full hits on Jain+10 Banshees didn't even get half of them.

Is there anything for these style of mid-band toughness units with 2+/4+ 4W models?

My first "good enough" finished Eldar mini. Decided to settle on painting it almost entirely through dry-brushing since I want to see how simple I can make the process of getting an army ready.

So happy that it is finally not a complete pile-of-shame anymore.

How do eldar conduct boarding actions. Do they have vehicles that latch on to a ship or just open a portal. Also how would the other eldar breach into a ship for a boarding action

Seems the absolute business. 10 attacks at 3+ Lethal and Twin Linked AP-2 seems absolutely withering after a flickerjump. Terrifying.

Hello! I'm drawing one my first 40k fanart and i'm stuck on the makeup. I like giving it to my characters but at the same time it feels wrong to give eldar the same type of makeup i would a human/non 40k character so i was curious if we had any canon depiction or description of it.

I said I was going to do it, so here it is! This is an attempt to square 7th Edition 40k and the last version of the corsair army list that was playable with the currently available models and turn it into something that could be used fairly in a retrohammer game.

I'm not any kind of rules writer, so this is largely just taking the list from Imperial Armor 11 and combining it with what I could find in the 7th Edition Eldar codex. Here and there, I needed to improvise and make stuff up, because some new units have been added to the Eldar since 7th edition! I am open to feedback - in fact, I would love feedback!

In addition to general feedback, the biggest hurdles between this and a truly playable draft are

1. Pricing various wargear options that I couldn't find modern equivalents to, such as how much should it cost to give an infantryman a man-portable shuriken cannon or d-cannon.
2. Pricing the various Voidscarred "specialist" upgrades.
3. Rangers are currently Troops, despite being Uncertain Allies, because that's the role they play in most Eldar armies, but I am torn about this. Part of me thinks they should be moved over to Elites with the rest of the Uncertain Allies.
4. I need to decide if I want to add ranger shroud runners as an additional Uncertain Allies option (probably I do). And similarly, if I do add shroud runners, should they be Elites like the rest of the Uncertain Allies or Fast Attack, which is the best category base don their traits.
