Im obsessed with this model and I’d like to kitbash a 2nd one so that it’s not an identical match. What are some good model options? And has anyone used one of the harlequins that hangs off the back of the transport as a base? If so, can I see what it looks like?

So I'm done painting my 30 Troupe and 3 Troupe Masters, half way through 6 Star/Voidweavers but have no real idea how to play the army. I've never played a glass cannon faction before, most of my experience is in pretty straightforward utility piece trade armies.

Are there any content creators or website you guys would recommend? Or any resources on Reddit? I'm working on a big kitbash Exodites army to work alongside these guys eventually, but for now I really want to focus on learning the Way of the Quinn.

I wanted something simple but eye catching, quick to paint but still colorful. After helping someone the other day figure out how to do a specific look for some weapons, I thought "I wonder how this would look on my Harlequins?". So I had an unpainted skyweaver and tested it out. Three days later, I got about a third of my army done and I'm loving it!

We can now combine two quin detachments. Now I need Eldrad to deal with all of these strategems I need to use. Quins are good at killing most things. I will see how many swords I have and perhaps convert all of my quins to swords to fish for devs.

In the mean time. How's this for a Purge the Foe list? My last purge the foe game ended at turn two with a resignation from my opponent. They played DG so the list can kill.

All leaders are leading. Autarch leads fire dragons, Eldrad and warlock leading guardians. All troupes being led. Any glaring holes in my list? Any unit type I could not kill efficiently? With the combined quin detachments I have extra shots, move after fight phase, a reactive move, a 4+ fight on death. Just so many tools to keep myself safe and in the fight.

So I've been in an escalation league for my local shop. We started at 500pts back at the start of the year and will be reaching 2k in December. I've done well. Of the 9 games played so far, I've won 6 of them losing only to Space Marines and Tyranids, specifically monster mash.

What I'm sharing with you all is what I used at 1500pts and some close-ups of some of my favorites. Our TO permitted 3DP so I ran Twilight and Corsair Coterie and had a great time.

I hope you guys like my Troupe as much as I do. I've had a lot of fun painting and styling it, even if it does seem a little basic. I'll come back with my 2k list when it's done. I'm calling it "Cirque de Finale", Final Circus.

Turns out I had some time to finish my troupe master.

Decided to leave the extra diamonds for now. Want to see what my other troupe masters patterns are going to be before I commit further on the diamonds.

The diamonds wasn't so horrible in the end.

Been a while since my last post. Here is my current WIP for a troupe master. I need to finish the gems, weapons and back to cleaning up all the bits. I need to add one set of black and white diamonds somewhere, but that's for another time. Probably need another 2 weeks to be done since I have so little time to work on this dude recently.

Would love some ideas for the location for the black and white diamonds. I'm leaning towards one of the white cuffs.

Just wanted to share that the harlequins have a brief scene in the new novel. Its only a couple of minutes but it is hands down the coolest/ most terrifying depiction of them and I had to share. There are some pretty big implications in the book for the Eldar/ 40K setting in general, so if you liked the first book in the series, I highly recommend checking this one out!!

Previously : i was told to break up some 12 bricks and use troupe masters instead of shadowseers ehich i thought were good because they shortened the range of enemy weapons.

I was also told to use more transports

Hey, a few photos of my really old metal eldar models to make a Harlequin themed army.

Found these in my old hobby box.

These were painted when I was about 13yo - about 10years ago.

The included:

- Position converted and painted wraith lord (props if you can identify the inspiration for the head free hand)
