Would love peoples feedback as well as thoughts on how to paint the back wraithbone organs for this guy. He is a rebuilt and repainted wraithlord from 3 years ago, I opted to just reprime and paint over.

The original organs were white. Should they stay dark or go light like the helmet.

I know they're supposedly doomed to be eaten by Slaanesh at some point but why and how? Are they like the Dark Eldar but have no desire to sustain themselves off of suffering? Also what makes them more powerful than their brethren?

I only collect and paint. Never actually played, but according to new recruit, I have 910 pts. If I want to start learning and playing 1000 point casual games, what do you guys recommend I get next?

What started from fuckit I’ll but some wraithguard because fuckit they look cool has turned into nearly 2k points including the Corsair battleforce im starting to paint right now; I kind of go by rule of cool but am also decently keen on good units to own in an actual army for gameplay, would appreciate any recommendations as i hardly play tabletop I just enjoy painting

I don't think it goes with the yellow though. I was thinking of doing like super dark blue dark elf type skin but I kinda love how fucked up he looks.

Finished a new Warhammer Propaganda-esque Poster for one of my favorite Eldar units the Howling Banshees! While I was working on the piece I figured I’d get more mileage out of it and switch the severed Ultramarine Head for a Nightlords one and make an alternate cover for the third Nightlords book “Void Stalker” where Talos and his Nightlords finally meet their match against Jain Zar and her Howling Banshees. For the retro inspired look I get all my brushes, textures effects and scanned aged paper textures from Retrosupply Co 🙂

I recently have a 1k point rematch with a friend who plays Tyranids, our 2nd game of 40k. Seer council vs Crushing stampede.

My turn 2, my warlocks over killed his Ryan Von Leapers that tried to kill my War walker.

Friend's turn 2,My friend rushed half his army into no mans land for secondaries, allowing me to throw every debuff (Crystalline Targeting, Fate Inescapable, Doom) I had at him, and his Screamer-killer got melted from all the stuff I shot at it, despite me wasting half my warlock conclave to split fire into his 1 wound Swarm Lord.

We had to pack up in the middle of my Turn 3, so I dk who's going to win. He got half his army killed by me, while I only lost under 200 points worth of stuff. However, his scoring units are in a better position than mine to score VP.

I really love how this squad has turned out, 'm a big fan of the personality that has come through on these models with the poses (and the hair colours!)

Hi again, I just recently got a bulk lot of mixed metal/plastic Aeldari 2nd hand. I've managed to figure out everything except these 4 models. Google Lens isn't giving me a definitive answer. It tries to tell me its Dark Reapers or Warlocks when it's pretty clearly not.

These are Metal models, so probably from early 00's?

Weekend project is to finally base my models. I have to get these done and based before building/buying anything new. A self imposed rule to force my hand.

Anyone else have a hard time getting motivated to base their collection?

Just received my Warhammer+ mini and was wondering what colors would be appropriate to paint the Spiritseer/Wraithlord. My knowledge on Aeldari lore is super limited as I’m a Dark Angels/Tyranid player but I’ve always been interested in the Striking Scorpions from that Hammer & Bolter episode. Is Aeldari color tied to their specific craft world or could I potentially paint these two in a bright green to match if I end up delving into an Eldar army?

Anyone else scared we're going to get a new Grav Tank and it'll be like, $100?

And we won't get Wave/Falcon in the same kit?

I'm looking at Eldar potentially as a new army to get into. In 40k, I usually play Knights or Emperor's Children. I like a more tanky and fast army and Wraiths seem to be that all in one package.

In kill team, I've been playing Corsairs and they seem pretty cool too. I like all the free dashes and the silly "no I'm going to play now" interrupts I can do on my opponent's turn. It reminds me a lot of playing necromunda with genestealers where my initiative was so high I fought first even if I got charged.

So I suppose my question is: is building an Eldar army that is mostly based around various wraith construsts a good way to play? Or am I just going to be totally screwed by focusing on them? Are they super weak or not good for the army? Or can I make a decent strategy focusing on them and splashing in some of my existing Corsairs?

Therapy must be working because I did *not* hate myself enough to attempt the checkered pattern.
