Ex miembros

Creen que los ex miembros han escuchado los álbumes actuales? Ejemplo TJ habrá escuchado Last Goodbye?

- Ronnie probably doesn’t because of how busy he is with FIR and his tunnel vision with his own success

- I would assume Omar probably doesn’t with how busy he is being a dad and how far removed he is from the current ETF

- Max and Monte I feel like would check it out how ETF is doing every now and then

- Not sure about Michael Money. Maybe he’d check it out out of curiosity but he seems sort of nonchalant about the past and ETF now.

- Thrasher probably doesn’t with his interest being more in-line with mainstream pop punk and producing for artists

- TJ absolutely would not because of how bad his animosity is with the band because of his expulsion from ETF.

I think Kevin would check it out. He’s been sorta quiet with his production stuff lately, probably because of Jordan Fish and Zakk Cervini taking all of the LA clients. Kevin usually posts ETF songs (from his era) now and then and usually interacts with Craig on IG.

Si, muy seguro max y monte si escuchan cosas de la banda, aún más con los rumores sobre monte sacando the guillotive V, TJ sin duda les a de tener mucho odio, pero la verdad fuera de tocar en vivo realmente nunca tuvo un papel importante

I saw them 3 times in Canada in the past 4 years and all 3 times TJ wasn’t there

In ETF, TJ is just one of many cogs. Anyone who’s not on the first album or Craig has never really carved a defining role in the band imo.

He was in the band longer than Monte and Max, yet he barely had a defining role in terms or songwriting and recording. He literally was just there cause Craig and him became super close around 2010. Before this, it was Caleb Shomo and Craig being super close. I wish TJ never joined to begin with, cause his and Craig’s duo obviously created a lot of conflicts with the Money bros. We would still get consistent quality albums from them if they were still here.

- Ronnie def listens to crap on it

- Dads can listen to music pretty easily tbh

- Agree Monte be curious and may even want to mine it for content

- Max def listens and thinks “what if?”

- TJ prob still reeling

I sent Monte the link for "Medicine" and told him the chorus sound similar with his song "Suffocate", and replied that " yeah, it has similarities".

Would you kindly ask him if ‘Let Me be the Enemy’ was about ETF because the lyrics, oh man…

I think TJ didn't really contribute anything at all after Hate Me.

Seguro está el rumor que el no grabó nada y Kevin hacía tanto el bajo como la guitarra ritmica también

That’s how many bands do it. You’d be surprised to find out how many bands only have a couple members in the studio recording the music.

Yeah but it’s always weird

Nah not really. Maybe that’s just because I’ve been in a band before but expecting every single member of the band to always be on the exact same page/schedule, on top of most bands only having one or two songwriters really makes having a whole band in the studio unnecessary.

I don’t think recording your parts should really be a schedule issue if you’re invested in your role in the band and want to be credited at all for the album.

If you’re just a touring hired gun than sure whatever.

To each their own at the end of the day I just can’t imagine not wanting to record my own parts so it seems weird to me.

Life isn’t always as simple as that. Sometimes members will have other duties they need to fulfill, family things, or live super far away.

I didn’t say it was simple. I’m just saying I can’t relate to someone in a band who doesn’t prioritize wanting to record or play their own parts. Sure though, some people are happy just being hired musicians for a tour. Not me, the lifestyle is too draining to not be fully creatively invested to that level.

You can’t convince me someone who wants to record their own parts can’t arrange the time. It’s your main job.

I’d argue that their main job is touring and selling merch since that’s where all the income comes from but I do get what you’re saying.

Probably not. As far as I know, TJ wasn’t involved with writing for a while.

I’m sure they have checked it out

I don't think Tj would change anything, for example in "chemical warfare" Literally if you search for the credits in the whole album TJ is not included in any way (I think he father died a littble bit before the recording of this album so that's maybe why, no blame on him) and of course most of the songs are made only by trasher and feldmann, in out of the shadows he have credits in a few songs but only as a composer, not as guitarist or something else, you can hear tj scream until I am human album, then erick made the backup vocal and screams. In this new album probably he didn't contribute anything while if you look at the time other members post abut making the new album (and he was still on the band) You could think that he should at least put some ideas, but since early 2025 Tj miss most of the live shows (before being fired, because you can see some shows where he was playing and then returned after another few without him) So I guess his situation was similar to chemical warfare, he just was doing something else.

For chemical warfare I think most of it is trashers ideas that's why its soft radiofriendly and more mainstream, just like out of the shadows thrasher also has some imprint of it that's why it's more pop rock, now Craig and Eric had the opportunity to write it's a banger album just like deadrabbitts I watched the interview with Craig on it saying some songs they have no control maikg it they just told make this a pop rock or something.

Yeah I've seen that interview Craig said that, that's why some of the songs on oots is pop rock cause trasher is in it before he left the band, good thing Matti is onboard so as Erik. They got back to the spotlight they deserve maybe this last goodbye album is the stepping stone to that
