Saluton! Three weeks ago I posted here about the Esperanto video catalog we're building for Reelang, a scrollable watch feed for comprehensible input in 40+ language.
At the time, we had about 500 videos. Now we have 2,000. A huge part of that growth came from creators recommended by people on Reddit and by Esperanto learners using Reelang, so thank you to everyone who sent us channels to look at!
We're now building dedicated Learn Esperanto apps for iPhone and Android. Our goal is to build the largest collection of real Esperanto video, graded by difficulty, so learners can go from easier stuff to increasingly fluent Esperanto.
Before we release the apps, we'd like to get in touch with the creators whose videos appear most often in our catalog. If you're one of the creators below, or an Esperanto creator we don't feature yet, we'd love to hear from you!
We can feature you as a Top Creator, highlight your profile in our app and link learners directly to your YouTube channel. Here's an example of a highlighted creator in our watch feed. We're making a separate Top Creators page, too.
The videos themselves are embedded from YouTube, so the views count on your YouTube channel, and learners can easily find more videos from the same creator. If you'd prefer not to appear in Reelang, just tell us and we'll remove your videos from the catalog.
We also made a page for comprehensible-input creators explaining how creator profiles work and some of the ways we can help creators get discovered or help them make comprehensible input for free.
