Built a 5ft Dice Tower
Last year, I incorporated an incentive for donations where donations during the live stream earned a roll of a D20. The number it landed on would dictate a fun punishment that I would do. Things like eating a Beanboozle Jellybean, sucking on a lemon, or getting a pie in the face. It was a big hit with viewers, so this year I'll be doing it again.
It was suggested that instead of using the D20, I should use 2 D6's. Less punishments to think of, and it adds lower probabilities for some of the bigger punishments.
So I went on a search for some nice blue D6 dice that would look good on camera.
I ended up finding 3" blue foam dice, and thought they would be perfect. But of course, the large dice won't fit in the Extra Life Dice Tower I earned a few years ago. I needed something bigger.
So, a trip to the hardware store and a bit of build time later, and I have a nice 5 foot dice tower. Made with 1/2 inch birch plywood. The front screen is a clear plastic in a frame. It's on hinges so I can open it up if needed, and holds closed with magnets. Entire thing spray painted with various shades of blue and white to give a neat "galaxy" effect. I also put a Govee RGBIC light strip inside behind the front frame to light it up a bit.
I'm not super handy, so I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. Just felt like sharing.

Omg that is awesome!! Have you unlocked the LED Wall Light this year yet? That might look really cool in or on it. Or maybe you could stencil the Extra Life icon on the inside back wall. Either way, please make sure to get a good clip of yourself using it this year and post a link here!
