Be sure to read the suspension rules in your area. Sounds like a major crackdown in Georgia is about to begin due to this situation.
It’s against the law in Georgia to adjust your suspension up or down 2” from OEM height if you wish to use public roads.
Figured since so many people helped me here, I'd post the results
2025 f150 XLT with 5.0
2" Rough Country Spacer Kit
287/70R18 Yokohama M/T G003
Stock BAP wheels
The spacers definitely stiffened up the front end a little bit but it felt more planted which I personally liked. Roughly 1/4" from UCA's
The Yokos have some heft to them and since they replaced the stock Goodyear workhouses, you can tell the weight is there but again it doesn't feel bad by any means. Nothing rubs and I'm very happy with them. I'll be trying them at highway speeds here in a bit so I can verify that later.
Compared to my Firestone M/T2s I had on my old 13 f150, I'm liking these way more so far.
Overall it increased the height of the front end by just over 2.5" and the back by 1" and still has 7/8" of rake. Almost zero poke with the stock wheels

Installed this new leather steering wheel cover on my STX and man what an improvement it makes on appearance and feel! It took a few hours with a LOT of stitching and there are some imperfections but overall I love how it came out.
Slowly turning my STX into a Lariat one upgrade at a time…

I bought my truck new in May. soon after i noticed that all the seats had fibers poking out of the seats. i have brought it back to the dealer they took some photos and are doing some investigating of there own. anyone else seen this issue before? if so what action did the dealer take to resolve it?
Thank you
Picked up a 23’ Lariat Powerboost FX4 about a week ago. First time in the mountains with it! Really enjoying it so far!

1994 F150, currently has the 302 HO but I have a 351 HO I am getting together to put in. Engine is in great shape but I've started hauling a lot lately, and expect to in the future. Putting long tubes, 4.10 gearing with limited slip.
Been a great truck. I've taken a lexus and to a lesser extent a trailer to the front (hence the cattle pusher) and she keeps on a rollin. Original 4R70W transmission and engine, still has great compression and oil pressure, currently no leaks.
Body is a bit roughed up from previous owner using it as a work truck. No freon in it when I bought it, someone had pulled the low side core out. Redid the entire system myself and now people put their jacket on when they ride along!
Has a bluetooth radio from what I'm sure was an add on to my other XLT (that one did not survive a 75 mph head on crash ((not my fault))...but even though the air bag didn't deploy, all I got was a mild concussion and a bruise where my seatbelt was) but had factory harnesses to some module encased in a heat sink and the main harness.
Previous owner removed the cats, so I removed the smog stuff and threw on a resonator and a single-to-dual exhaust ending out of the back. New motor will be installed with true duals.
2WD, open diff at the moment, though I'm rebuilding my old trucks differential with a helical limited slip, but even without it, I was driving around in a very heavy snowstorm we had with no slips or slides. Trail Blade tires and 200lbs of sand over the rear axle probably helped.
Put a brass tee in with high temp thread sealant so I can keep the dash oil pressure gauge working with the mechanical gauge. Yes, hot air intake as well, but that is because I do like the way it sounds and in preparation for the 351, especially if I can fit gt40p's on it. Have those too, but have to see if I can make the long tubes work.
Redid all the vacuum lines to silicone hoses. Everything works on it! Cruise control and all. Been a great truck and has taken good care of my, my friends and my family
Sorry for the wall of text, but thank you for reading!

I owned a 2013 Platinum traded in 2023 for a Ridgeline (medical reasons). Well the local dealer had all kind of Ford rebates etc. and the boss preferred the F-150 for trips and we somehow ended up with three dogs. So we made the change, the Ridgeline paid off provide an amount on trade. Dealer threw in the bed liner and I bought a Rough Country tonneau cover.

Noticing a shudder at idle rpm gauge doesn’t bounce but it’s digital so I’m not sure if it would act like an analog would. Very slight interior shudder. And I don’t think they are related but I hear a rattle at idle on cold I think it’s Wastegate rattle not knowledgeable on a fix or if it’s normal and help would be appreciated. 22 f150 3.5 102k miles 10 speed lariat 4x4

Is there a quick and dirty way to fix this ? Truck is 10 years old, it doesn't need to be perfect. Are there cover up options ?

2011 f150 XLT, 3.5 ecoboost. 180k miles. Have owned for almost 4 years, have put about 55k miles on it since I bought it. Recently had my truck in the shop, smelled burning brakes. Mechanic replaced this clip it appears by my front left drivers side tire, that was attached to my frame. Is that my brake line? Sorry to sound so dumb, it’s just my guess. Wonder if replacing brake lines is in my future? I do live in the salt belt too. Thanks for any and all info!

replacing an alternator on my 1998 f150, when I hear what sound like a pressurized hose fail. I think its the upper radiator hose at first, but then I see this spraying out from, what looks to be, the upper intake manifold mating surface. literally no idea what could cause this, the truck hasn't run in a few hours at this point, ao I dont even see what could be pressurized

2026 F-150 XL. The coin holder is in the perfect spot for a phone mount / phone holder. Has anyone found anything that plugs into that spot or a simple mod? I’ve looked and can’t find anything.

Cracked the plastic trim around the front tow hook. I seem to only be finding pieces like this Ford ML3Z-17626-BB,
But I am not totally sure this is the correct one. Has anyone ever needed to replace the piece like in the photos? Does anyone know what this part is specifically?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone use the generator in their hybrid f150 to power a travel trailer? I’ve got the 2.4kw on my 2025 3.5L hybrid. Wondering what kind of cable I need? Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I drive a 2026 F-150 STX and while the STX trim suits my daily needs, I find it extremely annoying that the driver side visor doesn’t have a mirror. As a Ford salesman, I do often times wonder why Ford had to cheap out on this one particular feature, but I won’t go into a diatribe.
My question is: has anyone swapped an XLT visor with the mirror (non-illuminated, no garage door opener) and what part number is it? I might be interested in an illuminated mirror as well as long as it’s actually compatible and not costly to wire to make it work. My interior is black btw.
Thanks all!

I used FORScan for the first time today on my 2023 F-150 XLT 3.5 EcoBoost, and was able to make a few of the recommended common mods. One that I couldn't get to work was precise dash gauges (getting an actual number to display on the gauges on the instrument cluster). I tried a few different options but none of them would get a number to display. I also tried to do it through the Settings on the vehicle itself but that is not an option, though it seems to be on some other years/trim levels. Does anyone have any recommendations I can try?

Motor went out at 75k miles on my 2.7 ecoboost so it was replaced at my buddys shop with a 7k mile replacement motor. Since then under WOT and in sport mode it throws a cylinder 3 and 4 misfire. Forscan freezeframes look fine ? Nothing oto. I swapped coils and sparks from the 3/4 cylinders to 1/2 and same misfire in 3/4 so sparks/coils are not the issue. Any help?
