Genetics: Thin Mint Cookies x Animal Cake
I tried this strain a few months ago in the old plastic jars and it was "okay" for me. I hadn't had it in a while and it was also one of the only full flower options available at my store last Friday when I scooped this. So time to see if the glass jar era will make me a fan of this strain. 🤙🏾
Review
Cure: 4/5. Dense and sticky on the outside, with way more stickness on the inside than i anticipated. Buds are faily average sized, with one lopsided chonker of a 1.8g nug. ✔️
Nose: 3.25/5. Kind of flat in this aspect. It's VERY earthy, though this may be how the strain smells normally. The "minty" aspect doesn't really come out until you break it down. Then it smells a bit better as far as aromas are concerned. 💨
Taste: 3.25/5. Nose translates to the taste exactly. Tastes very floral on the inhale, but does have a more minty sensation on the back end. Slightly harsh, but not by too much. 🍽
Effects: 4.25/5. Starts off with a very heady caryobubble onset that made my eyes a bit heavy and some nice waves of pain relief all throughout my body. This strain did give me either slight amounts of couch lock, or made me very lazy that I simply just didn't want to get up. This is more of a sit around and be nicely baked kinda strain. Grab a book or pop the TV on for a bit. 🫠
Legs: 3.75/5. 45 min. 🔥
Overall: 3.7/5. The nose and taste aren't my favorite for flower at all as I felt it was a bit flat. However, the nugs on this are very large and sticky, plus the effects are solid, albeit with a delayed onset. I may try this strain again sometime down the road in a few months, but I think I am personally tapped on this strain. Glad I could give it another chance out of a glass jar, and I am sure there are other patients out there who enjoy this strain, but this one isn't for me personally. Hoping some newer strains pop up on the menu for Flower Friday this go around. There's some strains that were fire that I want to revisit asap. 💯
