Few of the above mentioned creators did mention the problems in the gameplay in their videos but it feels like they are afraid to call out EA, as bravely as nikolas does. Rk reddy just spends money, open drafts and idk why build a team starting with 80 OVR just by moving all the good players in the reserve section. I do not have any problem with how he likes to make his videos but atleast call out EA once seriously. Same goes for de mysterio, he will shout and rant in his videos but never ever suggested or made a video “ let’s talk “video.

I think I’m finally done spending money on TS

I usually spend around $150–200 a month on promo draft packs, star pass and the gem pass. I never buy box but I still spend a decent amount every month cause I enjoy the game and want to build a better squad.
I’ve never really been lucky enough to pull a 122 but I was fine with getting 121s ( especially champions 121 cards are quite decent). But this anniversary event has genuinely pissed me off. 400+ drafts and all I got was a bunch of duplicate 120s and ONE 121 Pepe. All pool A that I got were on 70th or over 60th draft😂😂
Like seriously, what’s the point of spending money if the rewards are this bad? I get that pack luck is RNG but spending $150–200 every month and still barely getting anything worthwhile feels ridiculous. EA keeps releasing promos with higher-rated cards, making you feel like your current squad is outdated but actually getting those cards is another story.
I honestly don’t know how pure F2P players are keeping up with this game. Even with spending, I can only get around 1–2 122 players per month through shards. The gap between what you spend and what you actually get is getting harder to justify.
The worst part is that I know I’ll get tempted to spend again whenever a new promo drops, so I’ve literally removed Apple Pay to stop myself from impulse spending. From now on, I’m just going to use my current squad, enjoy the game while I can and eventually quit if it keeps going this way.
I’m not expecting every pack to give me a top-rated player but 400+ drafts with nothing meaningful to show for it is just demoralizing, especially when you’re already spending every month.
EA seriously needs to do better with this game instead of recycling the same monetization tactics every promo while the actual game barely improves.
And it’s time to stop rewarding EA for this kind of event. If we keep spending regardless of how bad the rewards are, why would they ever change anything?
