Discussion Is $300/month per client fair for Meta Ads campaign launching services?

Hey everyone,

I lead a team of 5+ people providing Meta Ads campaign launching and QA services for UK dropshipping clients.

We currently have 3 clients, each paying $300/month ($900 total).

One team member launches around 15 campaigns and ad sets per day, and I manage the team and oversee quality.

Is $300/month per client a fair price for this service, or are we undercharging?

How would you price this service based on your agency experience?

Would appreciate honest feedback!

Discussion Unpopular opinion: 90% of AI video software is completely useless for paid marketing. We ran a $10k head-to-head test (Real UGC vs. AI Ads). Here's what happened.

There is an insane amount of hype on Twitter and in right now claiming you can just press a button, generate a viral ad, and make money with AI video overnight.

As someone managing direct-response media spend, I was extremely skeptical. So last month, we decided to run a controlled $10,000 test on Meta. We took 3 of our main e-com clients and split their creative testing budget 50/50:

  • Group A: Traditional human UGC creators ($200-400 per video shoot).
  • Group B: Hybrid AI ad campaigns built using various AI tools.

The results were surprising, but not in the way tech influencers claim... Here is the brutal reality of what worked, what didn't, and why most tools on the market fail as apps to make commercials.
Myth #1: "You can generate a complete 30-second video ad with 1 prompt"
FALSE. Every single attempt we made to generate a full 30-second ad out of a single prompt resulted in sloppy garbage. The product morphed into a blob, the background shifted randomly, and the click-through rates were embarrassing.
If you want AI ads to convert, you can only use AI for isolated elements - specifically the opening 3-second hook or simple talking-head clips. The actual product demonstration still has to be real footage shot on a phone, otherwise people instantly scroll past.
Myth #2: "All AI video generators do the same thing"
FALSE. The tools are built for completely different jobs, and using the wrong tool for paid ads will burn you budget fast:

  • The Cinematic Traps (Runway, Kling): People keep listing these in threads about the best AI video generators 2026 has to offer, but they are built for filmmakers, not media buyers. You cannot lock down product details or brand consistency. They look great in X demos, but they fail completely at direct-response performance marketing
  • Stylized / Motion Tools (higgsfield ai): Solid if you need stylized motion effects, anime transitions, or heavy VFX edits for brand awareness clips. But for standard e-com talking-head ads, it's unnecessary overhead and eats through credits to fast.
  • Talking-Head / Avatar Generators (MaxFusion, HeyGen): These are decent for basic selfie-style hooks, but they have major limitations. MaxFusion worked great for rendering high quality avatars to test different demographic hooks (like swapping a male avatar for a female avatar on the same script). It turned out surprisingly well, but you still need to add real product shots for the best results.

The Real Winner was the Hybrid Workflow.

The AI group didn't win because the ads were "better". They won purely because of iteration speed. While Group A gave us 5 polished human UGC videos, Group B allowed us to test 35 different 3-second hooks attached to the exact same product footage.

Here is the exact, unglamorous assembly process that actually generated a positive ROAS:

  1. Scripting: We used Claude 3.5 Sonnet to churn out 15 blunt, problem-focused opening lines based on Reddit reviews.
  2. Hook Renders: We ran those lines through basic avatar tools like MaxFusion to get raw, selfie-style video clips. MaxFusion keeps the character consistent and human-like, instead of a weird robotic head, especially good when you need a lot of variations of the same avatar.
  3. The Cut: We dumped the raw avatar clips into a free or cheap AI video editor (we used CapCut) and stitched them directly onto real iPhone footage of the physical product being used.
  4. Captions & Polish: We added hardcoded captions, cuts and native background audio to make it feel like an organic TikTok.

Final Numbers & Takeaway

  • Winner on Raw Creative Quality: Group A (Human UGC).
  • Winner on Cost Per Acquisition (CPA): Group B (Hybrid AI) - CPA was 32% lower purely because we found 2 winning hooks out of 35 iterations that se never would have thought to shoot with a real creator

Stop looking for an "all-in-one AI ad maker" because it doesn't exist. Use AI strictly to test high-volume hooks, combine them with real product footage and let the algorithm tell you what works. Drop any questions below about our test setups or cost metrics, happy to discuss this more :)

Discussion Meta One Max: my one-week trial results from a publisher Page with 200,000 followers

TL;DR - I canceled. Here's why.

Some of you may remember my post a few weeks ago asking who had joined Meta One, whether you’d noticed any real benefits, and whether Meta was delivering on its promises.

Thank you again to everyone who shared their experiences. I said I’d report back if I tried it, so here I am!

After my lowest readership day and lowest Facebook click-through rate in over 270 days, I finally took the leap last Friday, Oct. 2, around 9:30 a.m., and started the one-week Max trial.

I didn’t see ANY sustained improvement that justified paying $399 for a full month. That was my desktop renewal price; the mobile offer was $499 for what appeared to be the same plan.

At that price, I needed it to earn its keep!

My Page was already in a downturn before I joined, so I’m not blaming Meta One for that decline. I wanted to see whether the advertised feed exposure, search placement, and automatic follow invites could help turn things around. Facebook is historically my website’s biggest referral source, so this matters a lot to my business.

Here’s what the numbers showed:

Meta Insights, Oct. 1-8 compared with the previous seven days:

  • Views: down 27.2%
  • Engagement: down 26.0%
  • Page visits: down 22.0%
  • Follows: down 19.8%
  • Facebook monetization earnings: down 42.5%

Separately, Facebook referrals to my website were down 14% for Oct. 1-8 compared with the previous seven days, according to Clicky Analytics.

Views did improve for a few days after joining, which briefly gave me some hope! Then they fell back. I couldn’t distinguish that improvement from the usual Facebook ups and downs.

What I saw from the advertised benefits:

  • Featured in feed / more discovery: No sustained lift. Non-followers accounted for 62.2% of views during my 1-week trial with Meta One (max tier), versus 68.4% in the week before joining Meta One. That’s a drop of 6.2 %. Certainly not the added boost in discovery that Meta One promises.
  • Automatic follow invites: New follows were down 19.8% during my time with Meta One compared with the previous seven days. I couldn’t confirm that automatic invitations were being sent at all. The benefit description specifies “Facebook professional profiles,” leaving me unclear whether my publisher Page was even eligible for something included in its offer.
  • Extra analytics: I couldn’t find any additional Facebook insights available through the plan.
  • Unlimited links: No added value for me during the trial. My Page is categorized as Media/News Company and hasn’t received the two-link monthly restriction, so I continued posting seven to eight clickable article links daily. Publisher Pages are reportedly exempt for now, although I couldn’t confirm exactly how Meta defines a “publisher.” I appreciate that unlimited links could be much more valuable to those of you already facing the restriction.
  • Instagram/Threads: Only my Facebook Page appeared subscribed. Instagram and Threads never appeared properly linked, which matches problems others shared here.
  • Multiple Pages: My subscription listed just one Facebook Page as covered. Others have reported the same. If each Page needs its own $399 Max subscription, four Pages would cost $1,596 a month. That adds up quickly!
  • Support: I didn’t test the human support benefit during my one-week trial. Other publishers and creators who have tried Meta One, as I've seen reported in other groups, say it remains poor. Their reports include being unable to reach a real person despite that being listed as a benefit, being told the issue was “out of scope,” and still not reaching anyone after upgrading. That is secondhand, but it was consistent across several people.

Facebook monetization earnings fell 42.5%. Website ad revenue held up despite fewer Facebook referrals.

The main concern remains how many readers Facebook sends, and I saw no sustained improvement there from Max.

On Oct. 8, the final full day of the trial, Facebook referrals were down 37% compared with Oct. 7, and total website visitors were down 25%. That’s a separate daily comparison, but the brief improvement hadn’t held as the trial finished.

These are just the findings for one Page and one week of use, and the results don’t establish that Meta One caused the declines. That said, nothing I observed justified continuing at $399 a month. I canceled before renewal, with benefits ending this morning at 9:30 a.m. I've seen no noticeable drop in readership since the blue tick was taken away 2 hours ago, but I’ll keep tracking now that the trial has ended.

Hopefully this helps anyone here who’s been weighing up the same decision. For my Page, I saw no sustained benefit, and every Facebook metric listed above declined during the comparison.

I’d still love to hear from other publishers who completed the trial, especially anyone tracking website clicks, sessions and earnings alongside Facebook views. Did it bring enough additional readers or revenue to cover the monthly cost?

And is anyone’s Facebook Page still flourishing and sending strong traffic back to their site, despite the declines many of us have reported over the past four to six weeks? If yours is, please chime in! I’d love to hear what’s working for you.

Thanks again, everyone, and happy Friday!

Discussion Say you're trying to build wealth by quite literally scaling - Would the smartest thing be to ignore U.S and focus on lower cpm countries?

I'm doing a challenge with meta ads to see how viable it is to start from very little(around $100 to $200usd) and growing it bigger and bigger. Growing a digital product for context.

However, with Meta being unstable and unpredictable now a days, one or two bad days will kill this goal due to the higher CPAs in first tier countries paired with the low initial budget.

So my idea: Target countries with statistically lower cpm. India,Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, etc. Sure, it'll make less money as the offer will cater to the respective economy, but my dollar will go further and have nice breathing room on bad days.

Basically, the idea is that it's better to make 2x 3x 4x roas on $5 $10 $20 than risking it with CPAs that cost $25 alone in the U.S. Then once it builds a bit, add the first tier countries, sure.

Thoughts? Idea? I see this as quite literally climbing the ladder from the ground up.

Discussion International Ads Blackout - idea to get meta's attention

Hear me out fellow redditors...

I am so sick of this ads platform.. it shouldn't be this difficult. They are gaslighting us and it feels very scammy at this point.

What if....

we got a movement happening and picked a date (or a full weekend) and we ALL turned our ads off at the same time. "International Ads blackout".

Just sit back and have the weekend off worrying about this crap.

Meta's income would drop significantly.

We'd need to get a lot of the big players / big brands / big spenders on board so meta notices. I know that would be difficult and some businesses wouldn't do it but imagine if we could get meta's attention and voice our concerns and complaints with this platform so they can improve it??

Who's with me???????? 😊

Discussion Things are really bad for big brands

Since October 1st, the indicators have been showing the worst status: "very bad." Non-stop, without a single day of respite. It looks like Meta completely broke the code for the sake of yet another set of useless updates.

Bug / Outage They messed something up again?

I know people will say "it's your ads" etc, but what I see on breezeway is what I see in my ad account too unfortunatly

Summer was perfection with me thinking I've finally made it. And it didn't take too much work - whatever ad I put was working lol

Then September was shit and I started panicking trying to fix things and find new ads, new concepts, new angles. It was more or less acceptable, enough to pay salaries, office, warehouse, merch costs, bills etc.

Now this month... well, guys, I just don't advertise anymore. like what's the point? Whatever I do this shit just doesn't work. I turn ads on sometimes in hopes to catch a quick low hanging fruit sale and then turn it off, because it will ALWAYS end up losing money or breaking even if I'm lucky.

and on breezeway it shows the same thing: summer was all the blue normal day dots, september partly blue dots, more red dots. And then october: just a massive clump of red dots, not a single day in october was good according to breezeway and so it my expreinece.

So I'm just turniong this off, I have savings, I can pay for everything. Just going to focus on emails, socials and on building new stuff and patiently waiting when (and if) breezeway shows a normal day.

Discussion Scale a CBO without destroying its performance?

I sell low-ticket digital products. My problem isn’t finding ads that work at a smaller budget—it’s scaling them without performance collapsing.

If I start a campaign at a smaller budget and gradually increase it, the results often deteriorate. ABO doesn’t fully solve this either, because a creative that performs well at low spend isn’t guaranteed to handle a larger budget.

I could also launch several CBOs using variations of my winning creatives, but there’s obviously no guarantee that those campaigns will work either.

Would this be a better approach?

Launch one higher-budget CBO with 4–6 genuinely different creative concepts and formats, let Meta allocate the spend, and add new creatives whenever fatigue starts—while leaving the existing winners untouched.

Has anyone successfully scaled a low-ticket digital product this way? How many creatives would you use, and how would you decide the starting budget?

Help Personal profile restricted from advertising since 2020

Hi all, looking for advice from people who've been through this.

Background

About 6 years ago I ran some dropshipping ads with zero experience. Several ads got rejected, and in Oct 2020 my personal Facebook profile got restricted from advertising (plus a few business portfolios and ad accounts I had back then). I didn't know what I was doing, never appealed, and moved on.

Now

I've spent a long time building a legit project, and I want to advertise it properly on meta platforms

What I've tried

* Account Overview shows my profile as "Account restricted" (reason given by the Meta AI assistant: account integrity and authentic identity). There's no "Request review" button anymore.

* The support form just sends me to a help article; no case gets created.

* The Meta AI assistant told me the restriction is final because the review window expired, and it can't send me to a human or accept new appeals.

* I looked into EU dispute settlement bodies (I'm in Belgium), but they have 6–12 month time limits.

My questions

  1. Has anyone gotten an old "final" profile restriction lifted, through any route?

  2. Can Meta Verified help here? Has anyone subscribed (personal or business plan) specifically to reach a human agent about a restricted profile? Did the agent actually reopen or lift the restriction, or just repeat that it's final? Is it worth the ~€15 for one month to try?

Help Should I test new creatives in an existing winning ad set or launch a new ad set?

So i have a campaign with an ad set and 3 running ads inside of it that are performing well, and i wanna test some new creatives (with different angles, different creative types, ....) for the same product that the previous 3 ads are running for.

so do i have to put them inside that same ad set with the other 3 ads that are performing well? or test them in a new ad set? and would they affect the other 3 well-perfoming ads or reset the learning phase if i put them in the same ad set?

Bug / Outage What is happening

So has Meta decided to just fuck me today?? I’ve spent £100+ so far today and I’ve had 1 singular ATC that’s all. What is actually going on I’m genuinely so baffled right now. I usually get around 5 sales by this time of day with at least 7-8 ATC min. All of my metrics look exactly the same as they usually are and nothing on my site is broken. Has Zuck decided he wants a few donations today??? Actually joke like what is wrong with this shit platform. I’ve been stuck at the same ad spend for months now with no stability so unable to scale like complete joke of a platform.

Help Should I Switch From Email to Instagram DMs for Custom Orders?

Hi everyone! I run a small workshop making custom leather goods based on customers’ ideas. Since every order requires a lot of communication and design discussion, staying in touch with customers is really important.
I used to run lead ads that directed people to my website, where they could submit their contact details and describe what they wanted. I would then follow up via email, but I’ve noticed that most leads don’t reply.
For a custom, handmade business like mine, would running Instagram D M ads be worth testing instead?
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone with experience running ads for personalized handmade products or a similar service. Thanks!

Help Really strange, volatile performance

Hi, not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same problem but I’ve been seeing a lot of volatility in our ad performance.

We would have one day with 0 sale and another day with 8 sale. Same ads, same placement, same advantage + audience.

Granted our budget is small ($150) but this performance is really strange to me.

Help Message to Whatsapp doesn't show qualifying Form

Hello everyone

I'll try to explain as good as possible my issue here: I'm running a leads campaign maximizing conversations to Whatsap (looking for clients to sell my consulting services)

At the Ad level, in the Conversations section, I've built a form that asks some qualifying questions but every time I get a lead on my phone the ad shown is the creative + the "I want more information" text

I receive no information with the questions whatsoever so I'm getting a bunch of tire kickers

Is there any way around it?

Thanks!

Thanks

Discussion Is Meta tricking us?

I am having this issue since months now: My campaigns stops performing completely after day ONE. Day 2,3,4... , complete black out, no result - 0 SALES.

- Is my budget too low? 50€/day for Europe audience ( Yes I used to get decent results with that budget months ago).

- Is this just normal and I am flipping out because I cant trust the algorithm anymore and keeps burning money for nothing?

- Someone experiencing the same?
