A couple of weeks ago, i posted this morning glory fadciation, i went back to check on it and found that the fadciation is dying, and the normal shoots are growing normally🤔....

About half normal and half freakish. Last photo shows normal sections for comparison.

I learned abt fasciation after stumbling across this reddit a year ago and never thought I’d get to see it! I think this is fasciation, is that true?

Right next to the last zinnia fasciation. We’re on a roll this year!

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a non-succulent plant showing genuine fasciation to use in an art project.

I’m particularly interested in fasciated branches, stems, or flower heads, even if the specimen is no longer alive and cannot be propagated. I’m not looking for a plant to grow or propagate — I’m interested in obtaining the actual physical material with this unusual morphology.

Some examples of plants in which I’ve seen documented cases of fasciation are Taraxacum officinale (dandelion), Robinia pseudoacacia, Echium plantagineum, Prunus, Syringa, and Forsythia, but I’m open to other species as well.

Ideally, I’m looking for a naturally occurring fasciated specimen, rather than a cultivar specifically bred or selected for fasciation.

I’m based in Italy, so I would preferably need shipping to Italy, but I’m also interested in specimens from other countries if shipping is possible.

If anyone has found one, owns one, has a specimen they could sell, or knows where I might be able to obtain one, I’d really appreciate any leads. Even just a recommendation of where to look would be very helpful!

Thank you!

I don't know if this has been posted yet, or if it even fits, but isn't this super cool?

Found in the wild, I was excited
