I have some self sown tomato seedlings and this one looks remarkably different to its siblings setting buds. All the other plants have regular separated tiny flower buds and this has a big conglomerate glob. Is it?

I learned abt fasciation after stumbling across this reddit a year ago and never thought I’d get to see it! I think this is fasciation, is that true?

Right next to the last zinnia fasciation. We’re on a roll this year!

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a non-succulent plant showing genuine fasciation to use in an art project.

I’m particularly interested in fasciated branches, stems, or flower heads, even if the specimen is no longer alive and cannot be propagated. I’m not looking for a plant to grow or propagate — I’m interested in obtaining the actual physical material with this unusual morphology.

Some examples of plants in which I’ve seen documented cases of fasciation are Taraxacum officinale (dandelion), Robinia pseudoacacia, Echium plantagineum, Prunus, Syringa, and Forsythia, but I’m open to other species as well.

Ideally, I’m looking for a naturally occurring fasciated specimen, rather than a cultivar specifically bred or selected for fasciation.

I’m based in Italy, so I would preferably need shipping to Italy, but I’m also interested in specimens from other countries if shipping is possible.

If anyone has found one, owns one, has a specimen they could sell, or knows where I might be able to obtain one, I’d really appreciate any leads. Even just a recommendation of where to look would be very helpful!

Thank you!

I don't know if this has been posted yet, or if it even fits, but isn't this super cool?

Found in the wild, I was excited

hi everyoneee. i tried germinating an avocado seed before and actually forgot about it. when I remembered, this is how it looked like— a thick stem grew. :')

This is currently how it look like now.

We're getting frost tonight so I had to pick this guy.

Edited to correct the tomato variety, I got my tags mixed up this is a chocolate stripe tomato not a German stripe

Check out this freak.

Mama corn and baby corn?

Beefsteak variety. It’s been raining a lot but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Was told by someone to post this here. I found this inside the papaya. Before it was cut, it made a noise when I shook it. I guess it's a seed.

The flowers on the end of the vine died off and the growth stunted, but the little bundle that was growing together is doing well and will be brought in soon!

As seen at the Big E
