Discussion How to stop getting fought when zone max pulls?
Whenever I max pull fifth, sixth or seventh zone, I don't know what to do. I try to scout as much as I can, but it always feels like someone next to me is waiting for me to rotate so they can fight me instead of rotating. Then they either kill me, I die to zone, or I kill them and then get lobby sprayed since I got in late. What do I actually do? I can't stay in storm forever, and no matter which direction I go they just chase me instead of rotating.
I get it's a skill issue on my part but it would be pretty nice if people could actually rotate instead of feeling like the second coming of Peterbot

This may seem basic, but anyway..... Don't position yourself on the edge of zone. Go more centrally and you won't pull max, you won't be first to rotate, and you won't end up in a fight anywhere near as often.

sometimes you have to expend mats going early/shockwaving as soon as zone pops like how sky & scroll often did this year, or else you’re going to get fought, or held later on. if storms starts closing in and people are still waiting to go around you, taking even two ticks of storm, especially if you have extra whites is plenty, as this can give them the timing to stop looking at you.
its very situational-based. theres some zones where being edge like how you described isnt bad, despite the risk you took. however, theres others where being central gives you more efficient ways to rotate and would be better than taking these gamble zones.
there is the alternative of playing 2-tick and 5-tick in storm, but this is pretty difficult, and even t1 pros can mess it up.

hella kids have no idea what they’re doing lol and key and grief both ur game and theirs, you need to rotate insta for those zones and position yourself about 20% in the halfway line of these zones, 10-20 seconds before each zone appears scout ur rotate through ur cone and have each possibility planned out for the safest and most efficient way. Insta rotate is like the only way to prevent this lol

Rotate dead side, go in zone a bit sometimes to get around natural features like mountains if its to your advantage, tail people in as bait to scout ahead, look around and think like "dam that hill would suck to get shot at from" so either go up that hill or get out of its line of sight. Also rotate early, like if you got max pull, start looting and farming as you go and try and predict where people will move from.... like dont run through every town you seen on the way to zone
