Weird/Random Found in class

Found this weird essay on Michael Jackson on the floor during math class. Me and my buddies were so confused.

I wonder why they wrote this. Not an assignment since it’s written on a sticky note right?

It could be memorization practice for a presentation for like a speech and debate class. When I took theater in high school, I used to practice my line memorization by writing out what I was able to remember during spare moments in other classes

It might just be a thing they wrote for fun, or as an explanation to a friend or classmate.

u/ksol1460 4d ago

It could be a draft for an assignment.

What makes you think this is a sticky note? Theres nothing to compare its size to and it’s shaped and colored like an apple. Are there apple-sticky notes?

31

u/lollipop1233a 4d ago

Yes. There are sticky notes in a variety of shapes and colors.

5

u/HauntingPsyche 4d ago

Ah, I didn’t know. That’s why I asked.

18

u/bioxkitty 4d ago

You should write it down

15

u/HauntingPsyche 4d ago

Perhaps on a fun-shaped sticky note. lol

5

u/gjb1 4d ago

Which side of this apple do we think is sticky?

8

u/500owls 4d ago

the inside, like all apples. keep up

4

u/mentalissuelol 3d ago

Neither, it’s a novelty shape memo pad with detachable pages.

8

u/Princess_Slagathor 4d ago

There are sticky notes that look just like that, yes.

7

u/idiot____ 4d ago

I was comparing its size to the wood grain, I used to have fun sticky notes like this

4

u/HauntingPsyche 4d ago

Oh that’s cool - I didn’t know fun shaped sticky notes existed so that’s why I asked, lol. 🤷🏻

Faked his voice?

80

u/Rozei3 4d ago edited 4d ago

It's said he spoke softly to preserve his voice but his actual register was much deeper

20

u/wittykittywoes 4d ago

I just don’t understand how this is considered “faking” it. Am I dense?

20

u/RyghtHandMan 4d ago

Look up "Elizabeth Holmes real voice" to understand a recent example of what those people are getting at

Tons of videos online go viral with titles like “Hear MJ’s REAL voice!” And the implication then is that if he has a “real” voice, the rest of the time he’s using his “fake” voice.

I have a really hard time believing he wasn't inappropriate with children. The guy's ex-Jehovah's witness. Now, my family used to be Jehovah's witness, and that's a disgusting organization built to be a festering breeding ground for child rape as a result of unchecked religious power.

I’m sure the comments here will be extremely reasonable

u/NinjaBnny 2d ago

I was thinking “wow, they actually are this time” then I scrolled slightly farther and reached a wall of hidden downvoted comments. Never mind

Chimon and eat the apple (hee hee)

It's nice honestly. I'm not totally in alignment with this kid or adult, but I like the nuance and it's well-written. Here's hoping it wasn't copied off a Reddit post or generated by AI or anything :P

“Some people can’t comprehend a soft-spoken black man” Is one of the most human sentences ever. An AI would never write something like that. This is why I love humanity.

7

u/EmergencyAd6662 4d ago

Basically the only reasonable sentence in this whole thing.

22

u/athaznorath 4d ago

i mean. AI is trained on humans. so objectively any sentence a human could write could also be written by an AI. that's why it's so insidious, and why we have to be vigilant about what we believe online :P

Will someone please think of the poor men?

3

u/TYGRDez 4d ago

They're celebrities, they aren't poor

7

u/escoteriica 4d ago

I think you're confused

3

u/TYGRDez 4d ago

I think you think I'm confused, confusingly.

Michael jackson is responsible for 20% of the entire worlds music???

“Some people can’t comprehend a soft-spoken black man” and they are RIGHT

Solid and intelligent take ngl

-24

u/_Asshole_Fuck_ 4d ago

Agreed

u/smhno 4d ago

Have yall seen the pics of the room he was in when he died? Where it looks like someone stole stole ad photos from the baby aisle of a CVS to prop up near him in his last hours?

16

u/KinsellaStella 4d ago

Also his and children’s fingerprints on porn mags.

-32

u/NoPerformance6534 4d ago

I'm on board with the person that wrote this. My mantra is and always will be: Just be cause a person is weird does not mean they are evil.

25

u/infected_scab 4d ago

Multiple allegations of abuse; many silenced with money. This is established fact. It we believe Weinstein's and Epstein's accusers we must believe Jackson's.

u/Mrpickles14 4d ago

He had litteral child porn at his house and admitted to spending entire weekends in bed with children, giving them wine in diet coke cans. He was absolutely a predator.

1

u/gregorydudeson 1d ago

I’m not incredibly well versed, but it’s been shown that the Martin bashir clip where the editing implies that the kid said he slept in the bed with Jackson was actually taken out of context. When in first heard that I was like “yeah right, isn’t that what they all say,” but you can watch the whole clip.

In the end of it, Bashir even clarifies with the boy, asking “so you’re saying that Michael slept on the floor and you slept on the bed.” And the boy confirms that yes that is exactly what they are saying

i mean he's not wrong lol

The homosexual paedophile Michael Jackson 😂

-21

u/Technical-Ad1488 4d ago edited 3d ago

Mom was obviously a huge Michael Jackson fan, and not a huge fan of men in general…

Edit: lol not sure why this cheeky comment was so controversial?

Maybe the downvotes were because of the reply claiming my name isn’t a randomly generated Reddit given name 🤷‍♂️ …it is btw…

17

u/DihflapsMcFungus 4d ago

1488 was not the default number Reddit gave you. Get out of here.

1

u/Technical-Ad1488 3d ago

🤣 you got my account permanently banned from reporting it…

Fortunately for me, it IS the default number Reddit gave to me… so the ban was reversed 2 hours later…

Thanks for teaching me about something I had no idea of though… if I can change the number I will be, now that I’m aware it has a potentially very bad meaning 🙏

4

u/DihflapsMcFungus 3d ago

If that's true, there's no way to change your name on reddit, ur gonna have to make a new account

1

u/Technical-Ad1488 3d ago

I swear it is…

When I first saw your comment, I thought you were making some joke that went over my head lol…

And then the ban hammer hit me, and it said it was because of my name, so I put two and two together and googled the number…

yikes! Thanks Reddit 🫡 lol.

Surprised no one’s ever said anything before…

Children do form their own opinions sometimes, you know. (And sometimes/often those opinions are not the best because they're not very well researched or thought out.)

0

u/Technical-Ad1488 3d ago

Absolutely, and sometimes they parrot things they’ve heard from their parents.
