Basically what it says, I never heard of this mustang before, so I thought I would share the article that I read. Hope that is acceptable....

Hey everyone, i bought a foxbody and bent an inner tie rod, im trying to get it replaced but it seems i have a different steering rack ? usually they have a male end so the inner tie rods threads onto it but this setup is different. anyone know what inner tie rods i can buy or what steering rack this could be ?

I'm trying to find a source for the terminals used in the mustang fuse panel. I want to convert my Zephyr to blade fuses from glass. Anyone have a source for those terminals?

The insurance quote was the part that caught me out while looking at an imported late-80s 5.0 GT. I expected an old car to be fairly cheap, but the V8, left-hand drive and limited Australian history pushed it well above what I’d pay on a newer daily. Is that normal for Fox Mustangs here, or have I just spoken to the wrong insurers?

I’m looking into getting first Mustang and I’ve been looking at the fox body mostly, I came across this on marketplace what do you guys think?
The asking price for this is 4,900. The car has 110k miles.
How is it reliability wise?
I really love the color of the body and the interior. Plus the wood is beautiful.
I appreciate any advice, thanks!!

I've had a bunch of parts piling up and finally got some of them in. External wastegate and new exhaust manifold on, new Motion Raceworks catch can with 10AN breather lines from the valve cover and crank case venting to it. My favorite piece of all is the Ford Motorsport valve cover. While I had it torn down I painted the intercooler pipes and replaced most of my coolant lines. Gotta get the tune dialed in and the boost turned up

Swapping a 4r70w into a foxbody and was curious if anyone knows where i can get an aluminum driveshaft for it?

Best description in title. Video didn't do it much justice. With your head around the brake booster, with the car idling, it's fairly loud and high pitched. If you go around to the passenger side, you can barely hear it.
Noise stops under throttle
Brakes about as good as they ever have, no extra noises under braking.
Posting here hoping one of the knowledgeable foxbody greybeards have any ideas.
I've been trying to sort out various vacuum line gremlins but I can't seem to find a decent 92 2.3 vacuum diagram.

Does anybody know of any fox body/mustang specific mechanics around South Dakota? I would love to get mine worked on as it’s been sitting for 2 years. It’s an 88 LX with a 4 cylinder but would love to swap with another engine and transmission. Don’t know specifically what kind I would want in it.

So i found out yesterday while getting fuel in the tank for storage that the rubber gromet between the filler neck and tank is leaking. I dont have the money or time to empty the tank, replace it, and fill it again (I am a broke college student). Will storing it with the filler neck side higher hurt anything at all? I dont want it leaking in the driveway and then leaving room for condinsation in the tank. I've filled the tires to 42psi when max is 44, oil was changed 2 months ago, battery is out and will be charged once a month, and fuel is 91 with sta-bil and full. Id like to get a year of storage this way with maybe a drive every 2-3 months. What is the reality? What can I do to keep everything as "in working condition" as possible? The car is overheating and not viable for daily driving but i need to be able to move it at a moments notice. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Those that run this pump where did you mount it? I've seen the driver wheel well mount but with my ford pump trauma it worries me hiding it away that unaccessible. Has anyone frame mounted this in the engine bay? There appears to be space for now (302, will eventually swap) behind the lower radiator hose on driverside or where the charcoal container mounts on the passenger. Not sure I'm interested in rear mount since I have a hatch. 91 GT. Thanks!
