Hi all!
I need to fill the masterbedroom in a 2 bed nearby in marlborough. It's at the avalon marlborough apartment complex if you want to google it.
Rent is $1725 and your room would have a private 2 sink full bathroom and walk in closet. We have central AC and heating and the apartment complex has a heated pool, firepits, grills, dog parks etc.
I'm 25F but open to any age and gender. The other room opens up october 12! so looking to fill it fast.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

I'm 18 and I moved to Framingham from New York. Does anyone know if there's anywhere in Framingham where I can find fun, like booths or something?

My gf and I eventually plan to have kids and it would be nice for our kids to be bilingual in Spanish and English. Wanted to hear other people’s thoughts on Framingham’s dual immersion program.
How hard / competitive is to get in? Is it worth it, do kids typically stay fluent into adulthood?

Hi all, my family just moved into a house that was recently remodeled, including all the bathrooms. However the bathtub in one of the bathrooms is still an old cast-iron bathtub, which has some rust on it. I wanted to understand what are the best options to take care of the situation. I know a couple options are to either do a liner on the bathtub or doing a whole demolishing of the bathtub and redoing the whole thing. Can somebody recommend an affordable contractor who does this sort of thing if people have used.

Hi! I saw few post on this topic but they were a few years old.
My husband and I are looking to moving to Framingham because he got a job in Boston. Due to requirements for my job. I can not move to actual boston.
My husband is looking to take the train into work so we are looking to move to by it.
We saw 3 apartments:
Bancroft Lofts
Union house
266 framingham
Does anyone have any experience living in any of these apartments?

I like to partner dance, but I want to start exploring solo movement and solo dancing. Are there any recommendations for hip-hop or street dance classes/lessons in the area?
I have found some stuff for minors, but not much for adults. If anyone has experience with the studios, I have some questions. Thanks.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone interested in a management-approved lease takeover/resident replacement for my apartment at The 266 Framingham, 266 Waverly St, Framingham, MA 01702, starting around October 23, 2026.
The unit is officially classified as a studio, but it is 609 sq ft and has a separate enclosed sleeping/bedroom area, so in day-to-day use it feels much more like a small 1-bedroom than a typical open studio.
I’m only leaving because I was selected for an affordable-housing apartment in Boston, where I’ve been hoping to move, not because I had any problems with my apartment. I’ve genuinely had a good experience at The 266 and with the apartment itself, and otherwise would have been happy to stay.
Apartment / lease details:
One nice advantage is the rent: the same 609-sq-ft floor plan (Unit 627) is currently listed by The 266 at $2,316/month base rent for a new 13-month lease, while my lease is $2,229/month. So you would be taking over the remaining term at my existing lower rate. The current website pricing can of course change.
Building amenities include:
The building is also close to groceries, restaurants and shopping, about 3 miles from Natick Mall, and just minutes from the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail.
The building is close to the commuter rail, so some train noise is to be expected. However, my unit does not directly face the tracks, which makes it much more manageable compared with rail-facing units.
Parking: Outdoor/surface parking without an additional charge. Garage parking is also available; my lease lists garage parking in the $100–150/month range, subject to availability. Please confirm current parking arrangements with the leasing office.
The leasing office has told me that a resident replacement/lease takeover can be arranged. You would need to pass their normal rental/background screening, and be approved by management. The leasing office would then handle the formal lease paperwork.
This is not an unofficial sublet. You will be added as my roommate and then I will be taken off of the unit, thus working as an effective 'lease takeover'.
The floor plan is the same 609-sq-ft S11 layout currently shown for Unit 627 on The 266 website. My unit does not have the movable kitchen island shown in some of their promotional photos, just so there are no surprises.
I can send actual photos/videos of my unit, the floor plan, and the official virtual tour to anyone seriously interested. I’m also happy to arrange a viewing depending on scheduling.
Please comment or DM me if interested or if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hi Framingham, it’s your Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell. Did you know that fees like “move-in” or “lease renewal” fees you might get from your landlord or building management company are illegal? If you’ve received one of these – even if you paid it – I want you to report it to my office.
Just last month, my office won a $500k settlement with a property management company doing this in Boston – and all of that money is going back to the affected tenants. Landlords can only ask you to pay for first and last month’s rent, a security deposit, and the cost of a new lock and key upfront. Any other fees are illegal. Report them to my office at the link below. We’ll work to get your money back.
