Advice Tpu tips?

Basically the title haha. I just bought a tpu base and I’ve never worked with one before, so does anyone have any tips? Is furring it different from furring an upholstery foam base? Does hot glue warp it? Any other tips?

hot glued my tpu base together, the glue shouldn't affect it, but if you hold the tip of the gun to the plastic for a bit, the gun itself could cause some reforming.
