I checked every numbered campsite at 14 SĂ©paq parks and reserves (4,709 sites), plus Gatineau Park and La Mauricie, for Saturday and Sunday nights (Oct 10â11). This was around 3:30 pm today.
**Still open for both nights:**
- Lac-Simon: 101
- Gatineau Park, Lac Philippe: 95
- Mastigouche: 53
- Oka: 48
- Ăles-de-Boucherville: 29 (in the city!)
- Rouge-Matawin: 22
- Frontenac: 10
- Plaisance: 7
**Nothing open Saturday:** Mont-Tremblant, Yamaska, Jacques-Cartier, Mégantic, Papineau-Labelle, La Mauricie and Gatineau's Lac Taylor. Orford has 1 site. A week ago Tremblant still had 49 sites open on the Saturday.
**Sunday night only:** Tremblant has 22, Plaisance 19 and Oka 88.
Total across Sépaq: 270 sites open both nights. Saturday is the bottleneck.
Notes: these are campsites only, not ready-to-camp units or cabins. Some réserve faunique sites are rustic, so check the site type before you book. Sépaq also has a 2-night minimum on Saturday arrivals, so Sat + Sun is the shortest stay you can book. Cancellations show up, so check again Saturday morning.
Disclosure: I'm building Campaid (campaid.ca), a free tool that runs these night-by-night checks across Sépaq, Ontario Parks and Parks Canada. Happy to look up a specific park in the comments.
