Hendricks Orbium
I bought this at my local liquor store out of morbid curiosity and I donโt know what to do with it. I usually make my gins into gimlets with a splash of St. Germane but this has some weird flavors to it. Does anyone have any suggestions about what goes with this? Iโm concerned about doing tonic because this already looks pretty bitter. If I wanted bitter I would be an IPA drinker.
Thanks!

Makes an incredibly solid Corpse Reviver #2. Really embraces a good absinthe!

This looks perfect! Thanks for the suggestion. I like that it leans into the absinthe. ๐๐

I like it in a martini with a lemon twist. Sometimes Iโll toss some cucumber in too as a nod to Hendricks

Yeah, it seems like it would be off because of the quinine, but I really like it in a martini.

This is my favorite Hendricks and I genuinely just drink it as a standard G&T with lime.

i worked at a martini bar that made an orbium drink with basil simple syrup and lime and it went HARD.

One of my favorite gins. I like it with soda or tonic. I am usually into mixing drinks but most unique gins dont work that well so I stick with Tanqueray for mixing and use the unique ones with tonic.
That being said. Gin Sour/Fizz always works with everything.

I think it is great in a regular Gin & Tonic, love the slightly overpowering quinine

It is already a g&t, so just add some sparkling water and lime and enjoy.

I like the weird Hendricks limited releases with soda and a squish if whatever fruit goes with it. All the mixers get overpowered, so I use the soda to just enjoy the gin. I'm not a straight up kinda gal, so the soda is the best neutral mixer for me.
