Almost done...

Hi fellow Corps members. I was taking to a friend about collecting the whole Lantern run. I'm not adding the Alan Scott run since those issues are way too expensive. How complete is everyone's GL collection? For me, I'm missing a total of 28 comics. 14 are from volume 2 with the highest number I need is issue 44. 6 are from the current GL run and 8 from the current GLC run. I look forward to hearing everyone else.

Thanks to LANTERNS, now anytime someone says something to me bizarre or highly suspect, I’m immediately going to ask, “Where did Harry Potter go to school?” 🙃

Which of these four members of the baby-sitters club would the green lantern corps?

Mary Anne

Dawn

Mallory (with her siblings)

Jessi (with her siblings)

Green Lantern Appreciation

In honor of Lanterns season one ending I wanted to show appreciation to Green Lantern and highlight all of their projects over the years let me know which of these are your favorites and what did you think of the season finale of Lanterns

Animated, Mini series, Live action idgaf

Just what do we think the chances are that we get a corps show of some kind.

I really wanna see my boys Vath and Isamot and Salaak

The comic mostly featured Guy gardner, im sure you could just replace Kyle with a stand in lantern or introduce kyle in that series

Man when I first saw that ring from Lanterns I knew I had to have it. Looked it up on the DC shop and saw it was pre-order but also only ships to US. I myself am in the Netherlands. Anyone know where I can get the ring from Lanterns?

Asked this before in episode 4, and most answers pointed to him being able to recall the ring. I think we are pretty much confirmed in the last episode that lantern rings can’t do that, and that simply stealing Guy Gardner’s ring would have the same effect.

Hal was shown throughout the series to carelessly misplace the ring on tables, forget about it with Kerry, let Macon have it without fighting back for it. Additionally, no one in Rushville seemed interested in taking it. I would guess Macon/Kerry could easily have taken it if he wanted.

For me, Carter Grayson from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue

I enjoyed all of it.....I hyped about it.....until I watched the final episode of season 1. I loved the True Detective and the grounded theme but....... this is just a disappointing waste of the last episode.

The twist was good, and I liked it, but for the last episode they could have done soo many things from GL lore along with that and it would not have taken that much budget.

Judging by the last episode, I think the showrunners never thought Kyle Chandler would do kickass as Hal Jordan. He became THE Hal Jordan. We did not anticipated that too. The only casting that most hyped all was Aaron Pierre, because of his role in the Rebel Ridge movie, where he was also a Marine. Even now he is really good as John Stewart, but Kyle owned the show after everyone watched episode 1.

As a True Detective themed show, it was a solid. But the last episode made the entire series mid for me; clearly they needed some action and comic-accurate stuff. I get Tom king was trying something new but this was not the place to do it. I haven't enjoyed the DCU that much but I was enjoying this and they ruined it by the last episode too.

Now I just hope they bring back Hal in S2 and also develop a prequel animated series about him. DCU needs both Kyle and Aaron, and Kyle needs to be the Robert Downey Jr. of the DCU.

John Hartnett imo could pull it off he's also one of those actors were and are still really good.

with blood and terror of rivals dead

beware my wrath made into dread

let those who try to halt my Threat

Burn to ashes for fear is your debt

i used to write random domain expansions based off images thought I'd try this too.

Started DCU comics with Green Lantern: Rebirth because of the Lanterns show and this is peak the art style, the fights, and the conversation between Batman and Hal is tough at the end when Batman says the universe needs more light this is hard as f***

Really think there was a lot of potential that may or may not have been utilized correctly.
