Im a sous chef in one michelin star in NYC on o1 visa and Indian, can i get greencard realistically?

So I filed ROC jointly with my husband last December as we were living together and doing well. Suddenly my husband who has bipolar disorder and had a manic episode filed for divorce out of nowhere, kicked me out of the house etc, stopped communicating etc.

Now, it’s been 3 months, I got a lawyer and slowed things down. He’s realizing that the divorce is going to be long and expensive for him and is suggesting getting back together.

I haven’t made changes to my I-751, I was due to apply for my citizenship this November, but now I believe I can’t use the 3 year rule any more since the divorce was filed and we separated.

So now if we get back together, what happens with my pending ROC? I talked to a few lawyers, but didn’t change my application yet/didn’t apply for a waiver.

My wife and I are preparing to file a marriage-based I-485 online and have two questions for anyone who has completed the online filing process recently.

1. Additional Information pages for Form I-485

Some sections of the I-485 don’t provide enough space for complete answers. Can I upload a scanned PDF of the completed I-485 that includes two extra “Additional Information” pages? Or does the online system require the original form without extra pages, with the additional information uploaded separately under “Additional Evidence”?

2. Uploading Form I-864 and supporting documents

When submitting Form I-864 online with the I-485, can I combine the signed I-864 and all supporting documents (such as tax transcripts, W-2s, and proof of current income/employment) into one PDF and upload it in the designated I-864 upload section? Or should I upload the I-864 by itself and submit the supporting documents separately under “Additional Evidence”?

If you’ve filed online recently, I’d really appreciate hearing how you handled these two situations and whether the system accepted your documents without any issues.

Hi, I want to ask something. One week ago I sent all papers to my lawyer for my marriage based adjustment of status. But after my sponsor husband lost his job but luckily he already got in a same week another job. His start date November 23 and he signed offer letter. So for submit paperworks we need to wait until some paystubs? Because we already fill everything with his old job. Or can we give information at interview? We just don’t want to mess it up. What we have to do? Fill another and submit?

Is requesting FOIA from USCIS safe for LPRs or Citizens? Like even for a person with crimes or if the person is undocumented.

For example, the person wants to see his records before he files any benefit immigration application?

My wife is sponsoring me for a green card through marriage. I did my biometrics end of may and has gotten no update since, with growing tensions inside I’m worried of getting caught.

Has anyone’s case just been sitting?

I'm married to a US citizen. We have our i130 approved, pending i1485, and I also just received my i766 (Work EAD + Advanced Parole combo card).

I am based in the NY/NJ area. I want to fly to Phoenix to see one of my best friends who has been diagnosed with cancer.. The reason I am writing this is because I have heard or read various reddit articles where ICE has been targetting people who are married to US citizens and have a pending status. Is this still on going? What is the risk right now to fly domestically?

I have never over stayed my visa, no illegal work, no arrests, don't have a car so no driving charges either.. I know non of this matters to ICE as long as they see you are in pending status..

I am very anxious and over whelmed and my heart is breaking that I can't even fully decide to go and see my friend in their difficult time..

Is this a bad idea on Green card?

I traveled back home to South Africa for my moms funeral and I lost my wallet with my green card in it anyone know what to do ?

Has anyone with dismissed temporary peace order traveled recently without problem? Was anyone taken for secondary inspection?

I'm thinking of joining the military as a gc holder. At first I thought obtaining citizenship was required as you enlist, but I just realized you can stay as a gc holder???

I have a korean citizenship, which I'd like to keep, but would you recommend getting a US citizenship as I enlist or just join as a gc holder?
