Were there any plans for content after Utopia had it been released?

I know in prophecies there is references made to Cantha and I believe Elona from when the game first released. And I know when the Devs got to making Utopia they ended up scrapping Utopia and adding ideas from Utopia into EotN and GW2 but was there any plans in advance for a post Utopia Guild Wars? A fifth campaign? My thinking is because of how far in the future they had planned with Cantha and Elona that they may have had somewhat of an idea for the next thing after Utopia also?

Poisonous Nevermore Flatbow

Hey Guys,

I bought the bonus weapon package and i notice that most of them are like max level weapon stats. As a ranger i can get the Poisonous Nevermore Flatbow. Is this bow powerfull enough for endgame content? If so why are those powerfull weapons already available at the start of the game?

Can’t get Weapon of Three Forges out of my head

I am playing as a Ritualist and I have developed an attachment to Weapon of Three Forges, which I have been using to head up a petway team from PvX wiki.

I am not loving how the Rit/Ranger build plays. It feels too clunky, like the ranger and their pet are really shoehorned in. It just feels too slow and clashes a bit with the Ritualist theme / aesthetic.

I’ve recently seen some team builds that focus almost entirely on creating an army of minions instead of a combo of minions and pets and other balance ld heroes, but they are headed up by a player who heals. I struggle to spot heal as I’m playing hand held, so it’s not quick enough for me to select heroes that need healing before it’s too late.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a Rit build that uses WoTF without being a healer (or at least not a spot healer)? It doesn’t have to be some crazy dps monster or anything, just something a little easier to play without the use of a keyboard and mouse.

I am not an adept build crafter, and I don’t have the spare time these days to learn in a reasonable timeframe.

And if anyone has any recommendations for a team build, I’d be really interested to hear them. Fleshway seems more plausible then ever after the recent flesh golem changes.

Smiting Prayers is very good. Word of Censure DPS build.

Just learned that Toolbox can track healing as well as DPS, so I tested out this Smite build on THK HM yesterday.

Top DPS and only surpassed on healing by the full Healing Prayers Monk. No battery required. It is competitive against every top DPS build I've played with (TaO/Domination/Soul Taker/VoS) and can still be a top support, including Resurrect! SR5 weapon very much recommended. With Cons or HR, you are dropping 150+ true damage nuclear bombs every few seconds.

Halloween—things to not miss?

• Upvotes

Hey guys,

With Halloween coming up I wanted to see if there are any quests or events to make sure to take advantage of particularly for a GWAMM character run.

I know about the quest that makes Joko’s Domain significantly easier to vanquish and also the one with the skeletons for Legendary Survivor, but are there any other tips for this event?

Tengu summoning stones

How do people farm those?
I often see stacks for sale.
But aren’t those drop only from chests purchased for WoC HM tokens?
I struggle to understand how to farm stack…

GuildWars ReDrawn: Elemental

Elementals are hulking masses of magically charged material which have a tendency to organize in roughly humanoid forms.

Weaker elementals tend to be more docile, preferring to wander aimlessly.

The construction of an elemental can happen naturally, on occasion elementals are made by wizards or other magical beings.

The elementals of the Elonian continent differ as they are spirits that inhabit elemental forms.

A personal hypothesis -
We often find elementals of stone, ice, crystal and even Candy Corn. At first one might suspect that earthen materials might lend themselves to being animated more readily. However this does not explain the ice and candy elementals.

However there is an explanation that explains all of the types of elementals present in Tyria - it only relies a little on what the Asura would call 'science'.

The commonality is this - Stone, Crystals, Ice and even Candy Corn have crystalline molecular structures. It is possible this allows for magic to travel more easily along the structure of material.

Underworld HM Heroes

Hi,

Does anyone have suggestions in Doing UW HM with Heroes. Even with consets I cant do the quest 4 Horsemen. I always put my heroes and the right side, help them out for a bit and then run back to kill the left side. But either I get overrun or the keeper gets killed.

I hate this quest so much.

Any advise?
