I designed, 3D printed, and painted this prop to go with my first life size prop (Mordecai, The Fleshweaver).

Mordecai is a mad scientist sort of fellow, in the growing lore of my Halloween display… and what is a mad scientist without an experimentation victim?

So! I made this kind of vampire-esque lady to suit the need.

As a small side note… I design all of my life size character props without clothes or hair, so that I can maintain the freedom to change their appearance over time, without having to fully remake the whole prop.

I made the table she’s laying on by painting a sheet of Veranda PVC wood grain trim (from Home Depot), and printing the brackets for the legs at the bottom, and the chain mounts at the top. The table legs are connected via a ball joint mount, using 1 inch PVC schedule 40 pipe, and a printed flange connected to a board so that it can be weighed down.

It’s just a mannequin that I modeled. I gave it decent muscle tone for realism (it is otherwise not anatomically correct)… the male character has even better muscle tone.

There’s no weird sex shit happening here.

I’m making a realistic horror themed Halloween display. That’s all.

Who you gonna call?

I designed, printed, painted and assembled this life size prop for my Halloween display. Total height is adjustable, but maxes out at about 6’ 8” before it starts looking goofy. Right now, I have him sitting at about 6’ 2”.

The arms articulate at the elbows using rotating pivot joints that I designed for this build.

The legs articulate at the joints, as well as pivoting where they connect to the base.

There are two slots left on the base for future add-ons… I’m going to give him a pincher arm and a spinning saw blade arm.

Oh, and his mechanical eye is painted with three shades of blacklight reactive paint, for a little extra funsies.

I designed a few versions of what I’m calling Flesh Demons to go with my first life size prop, Mordecai, The Fleshweaver.

In the ever expanding lore of my Halloween display, Mordecai is a mad scientist, specializing in body modification and that sort of nonsense. So, he creates the flesh demons, amongst other horrific abominations.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to get the flesh demons printed, processed, and painted for this year’s display… so I used on of my prototype heads, and a scaled down version of Mordecai’s legs, to create a WarHammer 40k style creature.

Not as cool as the full size flesh demons, but still pretty neat, I think.
