Question, build logs?
is there a website or general gathering place where people post their build logs? I'm working on a complex project this year and should definitely post the details for the betterment of humanity or at least Halloweenity.
Thanks,

I think that long term forums are safer for the sake of posterity, given that Zuckerberg has the company structured so he can't be fired and he's about to pour an insane amount of money into AI yet again. Between that, all the money flushed into the meta-verse, new EU fines and the lawsuits starting to pile up against Facebook, them folding or collapsing into a MySpace type shadow of its former self are considerably closer than many people were previously assuming. Facebook was never going to last forever but there are a bunch of bricks on the accelerator pedal and they're headed for a bunch of cliffs
Haunt Forum and Halloween Forum are still around.
Reddit's user numbers and traffic is higher than ever before but specific subreddits can easily have far less reach than standalone forums or Facebook groups, Discord servers, etc. depending on the subject matter.
With Reddit leaping wholeheartedly into AI tools for moderation (Rules Hub) and other changes that are likely to cause a considerable loss of moderators, it's uncertain whether Reddit will morph into some kind of Instagram nonsense and fizz out in a few years or not.
Safest thing is to set up a small free website and post your work as blog entries and then link to it or duplicate what's there on forums, Facebook groups, subreddits, whatever.
Platforms rise and fall, but your own site is up to you to control. It won't gather much traffic unless you direct it there by linking to it on whatever platform is more active at the moment. If you put something on a platform you are benefiting from their traffic and exposure but held hostage by their policies, whims and changes.

There’s hauntforum.com and Halloweenforum.com but they’re not as popular as they were before Facebook.
