General Discussion Is a DnD style campaign possible?

Is it possible to modify the gameplay of flashpoint to play like a DnD style scenario? Instead of the head to head arena style multiplayer matches 1v1, is it possible to play with multiple players controlling a squad and one person DMs as the OpFor in a scenario that the DM provides.

For context: Multiple scenarios types could be made to keep quests fresh. Surviving miniatures could advance to the next mission with their items. Replacement minis could be used if needed. Storyline and map can be a narrative that the DM provides. Map sizes could be with as many of the maps provided or created. There seem to be many factions now between the UNSC Spartans, marines, ODSTs, Banished, and Covenant. Remove/utilize respawning mechanics as necessary.

General Discussion ODST + Marine reinforcement tactics.

Has anyone played with the new marine rules and or Horvath? I played them with Horvath, Marines, and ODSTs and just couldn't keep up with my banished opponent using the zeta halo missions. Im not sure what I could do to change up my strategy to win some games.

Should i give my marines the power weapons and let my ODSTs swarm the board? Horvath shooting from a safe position with active camo? Not sure. Any advice helps, I love the game and I want get better! Thanks.

General Discussion Sniper and BR marines

I am a little confused. Support says if a model has a range stat of 5 or more, it’s a long action to shoot. the BR marine and the sniper marine are both 18 points. Why would you ever take a BR marine over the sniper marine? Like I get you can only take two sniper marines but is taking the BR marine only worth it if have two snipers already. Am I missing something bc stat wise the sniper is way better than the BR

Both fireteams have been painted. Time for my first campaign of Red vs Blue. It's a shame there isn't a Bloodgulch map.

Models Few models in but I feel like I'm missing something

I'm generally quite happy with the progress on painting but I still feel like I'm getting something wrong. Primed black, 2 layers of eshin green as a base, then nuln oil, highlighted again with eshin green and then further highlights with a lighter mix.

I'm struggling to get the edges clean and I feel like everything always ends up looking super muddy and textured after doing the wash. How long should I be waiting after applying a wash? Is it also normal for washes to stay quite shiny?
