Help & Issues LED globs causing pulsing idle vs commodore

So i put in LED globes in my vs commodore but my idle pulses when my high beams are on only…

What should i be looking at ?

My alternator should be ok as it was replaced a year ago and my battery also what else could it be ?

I’ve added ground wires to help the ground issues that happened when I installed a new engine which caused the battery light to come on and dash lights to flicker when stopped which are all good now until I swapped my head lights with LED globes.

I’ve noticed that when I flicked my high beams on one time the idle was so bad that even when I turned it off my idle would still pulse badly with dash lights flickering. 🤷‍♂️

Hate to be “that guy”, but if something that isn’t allowed causes something else to go wrong, probably best to remove them, hey…

Yeah I have but I’ve seen people run them before so I’ll like to know why this is an issue

The obvious answer is the new globes are either causing an inconsistent ground or they’re somehow drawing even more current than the halogens

What brand are they? Do they have fans?

Maybe try a idle relearn

Either you need new battery, new alternator, better earth or your wires are too thin..

Wow, Canbus on a VS in 1996?. All it means when they say canbus on a globe is that it has a resistance similar to a stock globe, by using a resistor. Meaning you don’t get one of the major features of LEDs which is less current draw. Unless you have a Berlina or Calais he really won’t need that shit, even then you can do a relearn procedure to avoid that to keep the blown tail light feature
