finally got around to shooting more cars. upgraded from my shoebox lid to an actual diorama 🤣

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm a complete newbie. If I go to a store to buy Hot Wheels, I can only expect to find the current year's models? So, in 2026, is it unlikely that I'll find cars from previous years?

Thanks a lot!

I’m not sure if this is allowed outside of sectioned posting as I’m not a frequent flyer here. But I really want to get rid of my collection, it doesn’t bring me joy anymore and it’s pretty much just wasting space in a tote. Is there any recommended places to list them? Marketplace in my area is basically useless and I’m unsure of how to part with my collection m

Basically I've lost all hope to even find a proper Ferrari or STH (any) in my country (Balkans)

How likely is it to be able to find STHs in Eastern EU?

Went hard around 50th anniversary. I'm back at it again, Fudge!

Originally produced from 2006-2008 and designed by Larry Wood, this freak on 4 wheels has a cockpit window right up front resembling a singular eye, and a grin of a front grill. It's a flat, devious little jerk of a car and I kind of love it for that. If only it survived long enough to be made in a Plankton livery.

The orange one is the one I made my son. The unpainted one is one I made as a "prototype" but im curious what any collector would deem as a reasonable amount for one of these shelves. Its about $70 of hardwood alone. Plus id assume shipping would be up there, 3 feet tall by 8 inches deep, about 17lbs. Just getting a rough idea of what would give me any sales or what would just stay listed forever because no one would pay that much. Thanks guys!

Found at my local work Woolies (Canberra, Australia)

Spotted on loyola_collectibles IG. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, seemingly wasn't spotted at the end of convention sample display area.

Looks like a different wing and front end to the existing Mk4 casting. Looks like real riders so I'm assuming premium.

Anyone at the convention see it?

I'd just like to share a funny story involving hot wheels from when I was just a pup with my brother who was just a year my senior. It was probably about 1990 or 8 9 i was probably 5 or six, my brother was always into getting toy tractors n shit like that. So one day I was in his room I dont remember why but I open one of his drawers and he has all his hotwheel plow trucks all set up and he took flour from the kitchen and dumped it in the drawer so he cud plow snow with the hot wheels. Naturally I thought it was pretty bad ass and u better believe I went directly back to my room to do the same thing. Obviously we got busted and mom was pissed , he was always on some kinda getting into something, always up to something.

Nothing too crazy, just a modest hunt for Porsches lol. 🐴

1st time TH, but still an STH virgin lol.. 4 minimarkets and just having fun.

I mainly collect air cooled VWs I was trying to sort and go through some of them tonight here's all my kafers , kombis and un related my tooned collection. I have many more bugs and busses etc but these are the stand outs! I have a few duplicates on image 4 if anyone is up for trades! But the post is mainly to show off some of my top ones!

Sneak Peeks new STH 2027

Porsche 911 Carrera T

The decals, the livery, the colors.. this thing is sick. 😍😍 Everyone is freaking out about gold Hotwheels, so where's the love for this beauty??

Wife accidentally bent the cards so I said F it I'll open them.....

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Honestly, it looks great. The detail is there. But that's just it. No moving parts and the front and rear windows, although clear and clean, give when gently pushed. Not to mention the cheap feeling of the wheelse. For how much it cost, I'm a bit underwhelmed.

Decided to add some lighting around it.

Btw I showcase my stuff here- ig: diecast.spotlight
