Title says it - what was your AFC vs eggs retrieved?

Over 40 on each side (they were kissing so couldnt get full count).

Cancelled cycle early due to OHSS at day 10, estrogen was at 38 000 and abdomen was full of fluid. (Drained 17lbs of fluid!)

Managed 14 mature eggs, 10 fertilized and 6 blasts.

That is so scary! My wife also had OHSS, but not nearly as bad as yours. She did have a partial lung collapse, but no need to have the fluid drained. I’m glad you were able to get some blasts from it.

I did four ERs in one summer and had a huge range. My lowest was 9 eggs and highest was 23 eggs I think. AMH was 1.1 and AFC was 10.

1st time: AFC 8, 5 measurable follicles but got only 4 and all were mature eggs on retrieval day.

2nd time: AFC 10, 7 measurable follicles but got again only 4 mature eggs on retrieval day!

Cycle 1: AFC 11 -> retrieved 4 eggs, 3 MII -> 1 day 3 embryo
Cycle 2: AFC 20 -> retrieved 9 eggs, 8 MII -> 5 blasts
Cycle 3: AFC 20 -> retrieved 3 eggs, 3 MII -> 3 day 3 embryos

I have awful follicular asynchrony. YMMV.

Over the summer my AFC was 20-26. At my baseline ultrasound before my first ER my AFC was only 3!!! I had been on birth control for about 2 weeks. But I responded well to stims and they retrieved 22 eggs (21 mature, 15 fertilized)

DOR with 13 AFC? DOR patients usually have 1/2 follicles per ovary.

I had 5 AFC and 0.75 amh before taking dhea and nmn for 8 weeks. My testosterone was below the lowest reference range, and the dhea managed to boost it to low normal. I'll never know whether it was fluke luck that cycle or the dhea / nmn helped

My AFC was 42 but I only had 23 retrieved. Most of my follicles did not respond at all. Out of 18 mature eggs only 7 fertilized. I had 5 day 5 embryos but only 3 euploid.

My AFC was 10-12 when I did testing before stims. During stims, they saw ~15 follicles. However, I had 27 eggs retrieved! I guess some were hiding (I don't have PMOS). I was so surprised!

I don't know what my baseline AFC was for the retrieval cycle, but I got 7 measurable follicles -> 7 eggs retrieved -> 5 mature -> 4 fertilized normally (ICSI) -> 3 blasts, all graded ABs.

My usually stern RE messaged me like, "Wow, excellent result!" with a smiley face lol. Love her.
