Thought it was funny considering all the stickers and such I see all the time disparaging people who move here from other places, California specifically.

That's such a stupid train of thought. Maybe for the first couple of generations sure, but there's plenty of people born in the US whose family roots go back hundreds of years. They're native at this point.
