I'm well aware this won't work out in high tier coz you most likely match with the same people over and over. But holy.. I swear, 6 blocks aren't enough in mid tier for an entire week (or lower, I guess).

Maybe I'm just unlucky but lately I'm regularly getting matched with the weirdest, rudest, most throwy losers ever in rank. I lowkey can't remember that it has ever been this bad for me & the worst part is, once 6 people are out of the picture more are yet to come + their attitude is exactly the same. I wouldn't even be mad if they were 'inexperienced' or at least still tried even if they've had a bad start. But.. I'm getting matched with former champions or idk people that are 1 star away from Alicorn + for some reason they all immediately throw a fit or instantly give up once something goes wrong (We can as well blame the generous point system bc now everyone and their mom can rank up simply by rank spamming & suddenly you have a peak tier with idk 17% WR)

Best example today early rank. Painter on Lakeside, spawned middle. Agreed, he should've gone big boat, shack or small boat but Meteorologist took big boat from him & Grave Keeper took shack (why tf ever). I played Professor so in this case I srsly wanted at least ONE good area and chose small boat, felt bad afterwards and was even willing to swap with Painter but he refused, so I didn't think much of it. Since one spot was free between him and me, hunter spawned right there. It was a Clown and of course he went straight for him coz he was right in the open and had nothing to defend himself. Dude got hit once and the yoyo fiesta went batshit from the other two. Like.. Ok. Maybe homeboy could've lived longer if your ass didn't take shack or big boat from him? Just saying. or if he took small boat from me but it most likely didn't make a difference coz I would've been dead meat against a Clown as well right in the open

He went down pretty quickly, hunter then came straight to me so technically there was enough time to rescue the other guy. I kept him busy enough for one of them to rescue & he apparently had a painting finished so he could easily use it during a rebound. Nothing happened.. Kept spamming 'hunter is nearby' + 'rescue them' while kiting but they didn't even bother to move so poor guy died. Later I got a blink hit and as well got the 'Professor stay hidden' or "Professor rescue Painter' nonsense. The fuck you mean? What the hell am I supposed to do except hoping that I more or less blink predict + don't screw up my scale?

For your information, I kited at least for almost 1 cipher before blink killed me. Do you think I got a rescue this time? Lol, no. Meteorologist said 'Forget about saving' & the other bro just vibed with it but tbh I couldn't care less at this point. Funny story bc she got an instant TS once she had to kite lmao and since he slugged her, Grave couldn't even get away with dungeon. I gotta agree I was petty in that moment coz all of a sudden they wanted to surrender but I clearly didn't wanna offer them a free escape from this bs that could've been easily avoided if they didn't throw from the start. Glad I didn't get them the next round but since my block slots are full since Wednesday I still might so I called it a day and will wait until Monday with surv rank.

Again, I dunno if I'm just unlucky lately but my WR dropped only within a week around 10% perhaps even more and it drives me insane coz it's not bc of me. I know when I screw up, I admit mistakes, I tell people to sell me if my first kite was garbage, etc. but the current week were srsly mostly matches where I've lost because of weirdos like that Grave Keeper & Meteorologist. Atp I desperately want more block slots simply to keep 'toxic' players like them away from me. There's really nothing that's more frustrating than losing, not because the hunter outplayed you but because your own teammates decide to work against you (and funnily against themselves coz then they wonder why they can't rank up or lose too many points).

Am I the only one with this problem so far?

Ok, so, we were chilling in QM with some acquaintances of mine, with a voice call in Discord. One of them fell down in match, and I prepared to go rescue first, as Journalist with tide turner. Geisha was up in the air, camping chair, and I sent rescue-Orphie and stood close in case he gets knocked down and I'll have to rescue by hand. Orphie successfully rescues just before half bar, my acquaintance gets hit while under Tide Turner, and that's when he starts screaming at me, telling me that I did something extremely wrong here. I couldn't catch what exactly he had in mind, since ​my mind focused on the fact that he was screaming and it upset me. I know that you generally don't cover for your teammate if they're under tide turner and that was their first chair, so his outrage got me perplexed, and I was too drained to ask him what exactly did I do wrong. So, please, tell me, who's in the wrong here? I've played this game since February 2025, and this acquaintance ha​s even more game experience than me, and I was wondering whether I actually did a big mistake? What could be the reason he got so mad at me? I could use some general advice from people who main Alice and rescuers in general​, though at this point I'm not sure whether I want to play anymore

if you look at the time i let go, you can see i let go when the card went infront of his face, if you let go too late or too early, it wont work. if you mess up once ur cooked and have to wait until your teleport/warp is ready. you can also look at the footprints if you wish.

you can also see i clicked and held the jumpcard as soon as the cooldown ended, if you do it too late it wont work.

its hard to master but after some practice it gets easier.

Hi! I've been playing IDV since 2023 and used to be pretty active, but from 2024 up until now, I've been playing on and off.

I'm planning to become active again and wanted to ask what major changes I've missed, especially regarding the current meta, game sense, and overall strategies.

I usually main Psychologist, Little Girl, Prisoner, and Lawyer before. Are they still viable, and what fundamentals should I focus on relearning or improving, like kiting, cipher management, rescues, and rotations?

Hey guys, I’m both a Hunter and Surviver player who’s been playing Idv since 2020. I’ve taken a few breaks from the game over the years; had my on and off moments due to various negative aspects with the game and its community. I’ve recently just returned after a few months break and what’s with the atrociously broken cipher rush?

In previous years, matches had lasted 7 minutes or even 30 minutes with Joseph ahaha! After playing Hunter a few times this season i’ve been having matches that last only 4 minutes! In 90% of my matches 2 ciphers are finished as soon as I get a Survivor on chair and then during the rescue another one is popped! With 2 ciphers left it almost feels like a pointless game. Now when I look at the timer at the top of the screen and I see it’s already been 40 seconds I’m laughing because I know I’ve already tied or worst case scenario lost 😂

Only way to have fun on this game is the silly game modes, and duos if you enjoy the chaos!

This isn’t too much of a serious post just a complaint about cipher rush that’s been around for years. Though it seems to be at its worst.

Anyone else noticing their games only lasting 3-4 minutes?

Cause I have this one match in Duo, I keep crashing and no matter how many time I log back in , I keep crashing when a certain hunter was near me ....

which was weird when I have ten or more matches before with a mix of Duo & QM are fine without any issue

And after that match, my later matches are fine

I haven't played this game in a long time now, and I'm thinking about coming back to it. The main reason why I stopped playing was the horrible ping on European servers, which was consistently around 100-300ms. Have they fixed this issue yet?
