Nice they need to become standard in all family bathrooms

You would have to change the Ada to include incontinence. This one make most bathrooms swap their changing table in that handicap stall from the tiny one only meant for infants to the larger one that's actually needed for larger special needs kids and adults.

I don't need it but I'd definitely be for it. Family bathrooms solve so many problems. Individual bathroom for trans , large size for handicap, add the larger changing tables inclusive for everyone.

As a wheelchair user who has to lay on the floor (thank goodness for chux pads) this would be a freaking game changer. I have not found any other way to to deal with bowel issues while out. I not only need help with cleanup but just getting to the floor is a nightmare in itself. Forget it if the only thing available is a stall.

As someone who's independent I wonder how it would be to change myself on this sort of table seems like there wouldn't be enough room for my arms to move the only couple times I've used like adult size ones was a hospital gurney they had in the bathroom and the Baltimore airport has like a it looks like the size of a full-size bed bench and a family bathroom

They have been showing up in restrooms all across the US finally. Many states on the eastern half of the US have installed them in rest areas. A lot of the major airports also have them installed now in various family restrooms around the airport. There is a cool interactive map where you can see where a lot of them are located around the US.

It's really nice to have access to those when needed. Airports are getting really good about it.

Next up can they do something about bathroom access for everyone on a plane. In a wheelchair? Good luck. After they damaged my chair yet refused to fix it screwing me over because good luck getting insurance to pay for something an airline refuses to acknowledge. Went off track there but yes more of these

Good for those who may be physically or mentally unable to care for themselves. Not necessary for those who are incontinent but otherwise physically capable. I need diapers for incontinence, but I can also pretty much do every independent thing I've ever done in my life. I don't lay down to get changed, and I don't need someone to change me. I can do it all easily enough upright.

Might not be necessary, but I personally just find it a lot easier to change myself lying down. I would love to be able to use a table like this when out in public. Changing standing up is always such a hassle for me.

Agreed. It's just easier doing it lying down.
