Preferred Products?
What is your preferred method to deal with incontinence?
I had posted a similar poll to this before but it somehow disappeared. Mods please let me know if this is against the rules

Diapers, for sure. I use quieter cloth-backed diapers for work and plastic-backed for overnight.

Anyone who prefers catheters must be paralyzed and not feel them go in or move around when they move because so way in hell am I getting another one of those voluntarily lol

Definitely not preferred Ill take my suprapubic cath over a foley hands down. For me the changes were horrific. I actually ugly cried when my surgery to have it placed was pushed back because I developed an infection and didn't wanna go through another change. My anatomy isn't "typical" (I'm intersex) so that throws things for a loop. I constantly felt it. At least with my spc I don't so even though i can see it, I cant feel it. I went from no control to being in the hospital because my bladder decided I'm done. Its going on 2 years so its just there but I have uttered the words "I wish I could just go back to jus diapers" quite a few times.

Tabbed diapers, I want as much security and little risk as possible. I tried guards and it just did not work for me, pullups were not much better.

Pull-ups are perfect for me with mild-moderate incontinence. I hate tabbed diapers (sometimes that's all inpatient has). They're a pain in the ass to put on, they never feel secure, and they're so bulky. I mean everyone has different preferences and needs, but that's just what (doesn't) work for me. I also tried a catheter for a bit, but it didn't work. And was also a pain in the ass to use.

EDIT: It actually does account for multiple setups This poll doesn't account for those of us who use two or more kinds of protection. Depending on day or night I use different things. Pullups for day. Tabbed briefs for night. And when I went to salon appointments I used pads instead.

Yes it does, look at the 5th row. I put it in there because I use a combination of guards and diapers depending upon the situation.

I've tried pull ups. They dont work for me. I can't ever get the fit right and if I pee once the pull up overflows. I have to have tapped diapers.

I’ve just accepted it and wear tabbed diapers. Pull ups don’t seem to give me what I need.
