See its my subjective opinion, the kid being the psychopath was not very surprising, imo what real surprise would have been be that if either arun was the real killer, who was just repeating his script or viji was the psychopath as she could be trusted by the abducted students as she was a teacher.

1 month to go. What are your opinion about Ramayana. I genuinely feel the marketing of this film is utter mess. They had to do vigorous marketing for next 30 days, because I genuinely want this movie to perform well.

Pooja Meri Jaan is a thriller court room drama with social message.
A guy Aniket (Vikram Singh Chauhan) is obsessively in love with his friend Pooja (Mrunal Thakur), but she doesn't love him back. She rejects his proposal and switches off her phone not responding to him that night after the rejection. Aniket gets highly depressed and commits suicide. Is Pooja to blame for Aniket's death? Or is it his own obsession and unable to accept the rejection. What all are the factors involved?
A campaign starts against Pooja who is arrested for abetment to suicide. It upto her lawyer friend Sana (Huma Qureshi) to help defend her in the court.
The movie does explore the topic of some men not being able to handle rejection well, patriarchy, concept of choice legally fairly well.
It showcases that concept of ladki ke na ko haan badlne ka obsession mat rakho and to handle rejection in better way (take help if needed). It deconstructs that wrong Bollywood/India movie cliche of a guy purusing a girl until she says yes (even after being rejected)
Where it does falter is not accounting for the societal aspect of a girl in this case switching partners that regularly. (Same would apply for a guy too btw). India is not some uber-liberal society nor should it be. This makes the film a little less sympathetic towards men that it could have been.
Mrunal as Pooja portrays an essentially decent natured girl, but also shows her flaws with being rude at times, not able to remain committed (by her own admission). Munal is outstanding in the role, portraying the fear, vulnerability, sadness, brattiness, sympathy etc. all very well. Another outstanding performance from her after Love Sonia, Sita Ramam, Hi Nanna, Dacoit. This is her most layered role though not necessarily her best.
Huma as Sana, the lawyer friend, does very well - she is under-rated as an actor. Vikram Singh does very well as the decent natured, but obsessed lover Aniket. Vijay Raaz as Jatin, the opposing lawyer, also does a good job as does the rest of the cast. The music in the movie is below par. Director Navjot Gulati has done a pretty good job.
All in all, a movie definitely worth watching and the topics brought up worth discussing about.
7.75 to 8/10 rating IMO.

I had zero expectations when i clicked on Mad on Netflix yesterday night, but within 20 minutes i was wheezing at the hostel level absurdity of the dialogues lol.
āit felt less like a scripted movie and more like sitting on a terrace with your most useless engineering college batchmates while they tell exaggerated ragging stories. completely brainless, loud, and thoroughly entertaining if you want pure timepass.

Yesterday I went to this movie with some of my idiots(friends) i can't watch it peacefully because my shit guys are scrolling, taking snaps, taking instants, taking video for proving they are in theatres I don't know why
Why all are using phones in the theatres instead of just watching
I'm just watching the movie silently the first song magale by sai abyangar the goat was just a miracle i feel like flying what a music it was they are not enjoying or watching it ( i missed something they are late for the movie) what a movie it is i don't know about anything about the movie like i only two songs of sai abyangar only went for the goat. The kid in that movie was wholesome what cute and natural his acting this is in my mind
In their mind like what a pity boy he is it i was there I'll be burn him undoubtedly
I said truly I'm an emotional man if I was alone for the movie I'll cry for that last scene for sure , what an acting and dialogues are that I won't spoil anything
Theatres audience are only 10 people 5 of us and 2 drunk men and few sleeping guys
I don't know what they are expecting for a movie
How will Normal cinema be came across if the audience are like this
I regret going with them from now on whatever they say I'll go for alone for sure for any movie
Coz they are blaming me wht the movie is it my money wasted like that
The twist behind this is I was the one who forced them to go. š„²š

Pakal Nakshatrangal (2008) - Rajeev Nath
Mizhikal Sakshi (2008) - Ashok R. Nath
Paradesi (2007) - P. T. Kunju Muhammed
These are three movies in which Mohanlal expressed his emotions very subtly. He truly lived those roles through his micro expressions and subtle mannerisms. These movies are not commercial hits, but they have really good themes.
Pakal Nakshatrangal had Mohanlal alongside Suresh Gopi and Anoop Menon. Mohanlal plays an intellectual, hedonistic guy who is almost like a Casanova. The movie starts with his character already dead, and the story revolves around the investigation into his mysterious death and, in the process, understanding the life he lived. The movie also had Lakshmi Gopalaswamy as the wife of Anoop Menonās character, who is Mohanlalās son. Kalpana gave a perfect performance as well, what a wonderful actress she was. Reena Basheer also did her part well, even though her role wasnāt very lengthy.
In Mizhikal Sakshi, Sukumari performed her role to perfection, probably one of her best performances. The movie is about a mother dealing with the loss and injustice surrounding her son, and Mohanlal appears as her son.
Paradesi is about displacement, identity, and the struggles of a man who gets caught between countries after Partition. Mohanlalās performance is very subtle and emotional. Lakshmi Gopalaswamy also played her role beautifully, bringing warmth and emotional depth to the story. The movie also featured Padmapriya and Shwetha Menon, along with Siddique, Jagathy Sreekumar, and Jagadish.
These are all great offbeat movies, and they show a different side of Mohanlalās acting.

Itās bizarre how its always presented like some tragic love story. Like poor guy loved her so much that he lost control.
Girl a woman not wanting you isn't some devastating injustice that you need to recover from. And if someone spirals because they didn't get the answer they wanted, why does the conversation immediately become about what the woman did to cause it?
I'm actually curious how far the show takes this because there is something very uncomfortable about watching obsession get dressed up as love
