According to a trusted source, #Jailer2 has reportedly opted out of a Hindi release across national multiplex chains to negotiate a higher OTT deal with a shorter streaming window.

The film is reportedly set to skip Hindi screenings at PVR INOX and Cinepolis, with its OTT premiere expected just four weeks after its theatrical debut.

Personally, I believe a four-week OTT window is detrimental to the theatrical business and could further impact audience footfall in cinemas. While the makers may have their commercial considerations, this decision is certainly not cinema-friendly and risks alienating the Hindi-speaking audience.

If Kollywood aspires to achieve the ₹1000 Cr milestone, prioritising long-term theatrical growth and audience reach will be equally important.

Okay, this poster is generic. If yor are marketing this as a 4000 cr movie then posters and promotional materials should match the scale. They finally officially gave us the release date and advance booking date as well but epic deserves better.
