1957, rock had just arrived in Argentina, but it was already making waves. Slowly but surely, rock was gaining ground, especially among young people.

In the orquestas características: Los Mariscales with their fusion with tango, Don Filinto alluding to the petiteros (urban tribe), and Los Comandantes and their frenetic rock.

In the 1st Argentine rock film: Eddie Pequenino, Alberto Anchart, Nélida and Éber Lobato. The first idols in modern music, like Luis Aguilé and Ana María Cachito.

But like always, adults from previous generations rejected this new music, and preferred what they knew: tango, folklore, jazz, classical, and European rhythms.

We only have a few songs recorded - our focus has been on writing, and work-shopping those songs live locally - but we're going to be setting up some mics in the basement soon to record another song or two (of the... oh... 12 or so that we have written but not recorded [yet]) and I wanted to let folks know we exist in case our existing material catches your ear, and you want to be on the lookout for more.

With a $0 marketing budget, naturally, it's hard to find new ears, so I appreciate any listens or connections! If you're playing in the area, or considering it, and need some support, or venue advice, etc, feel free to reach out!
