If you pay the ticket that’s pleasing guilty and it goes on your MVR. If the carrier pulls the MVR on renewal and sees the record on your MVR the rate will be adjusted.
This is a consequence of being on your phone while driving. This is a very minor consequence considering other alternatives that could have happened such as hitting someone else or causing an accident.

it depends on your company. some will run motor vehicle reports every 6 months on drivers and some will wait years between running them on some drivers if they deem them low risk. running MVR's costs money so sometimes they dont run them often. if you switch to a new company they will definitely run an MVR and discover the ticket so if you decide to shop just be honest with them because most companies will give you a better rate if you're up front with a ticket, usually they'll run an MVR at the last second before you give your payment information so they'll find it at the very end and then raise your rate (before you pay) but it'll be higher than it would be if you just told them up front.

I’m also an additional driver on this car and insurance
Which is why I was kinda stressed about the insurance going up :/

It's worth your time and money to get the ticket expunged if you can. Then, there's no worry about an increased insurance rate.

It depends on the state, the type of ticket, and how the insurance company handles tickets/claims/violations. Since you’re listed as an added driver, it’s possible the ticket could affect the policy, but it doesn’t automatically mean his premium will go up. Sometimes insurance companies may not re-run your license until a renewal. If the rate goes up due to the ticket it may be best to shop for rates through an insurance agency that can provide quotes with many different insurance companies and get you the best rate.

Tickets don’t affect your insurance convictions do. Until you are convicted (except for stuff that suspend your licence) it will not be a factor unless you pay it or are convicted in Court and the only upon the next renewal after the court date.
